Admittingly, Josh felt a very heavy weight lifted off his shoulders ever since he'd actually admitted to Jake that he was dating a student. Well, he hadn't told him who - and he wouldn't until Kristen graduated, not because he didn't trust the guy whom he considered to be his closest friend, but because he just didn't want to risk it. Sometimes you just said stuff without meaning to, that could be a good enough hint, and that might lead for trouble. However, Josh was past worrying about himself. Right now, his biggest worries were mostly on Kristen, because he knew she was risking a lot too by being involved with him, and he didn't want her entire future to be screwed up because of him. And then, it did still hurt him a bit to know that there were some important things he wouldn't be able to do with her that probably mattered quite a bit. Like prom, for instance, that was coming pretty was, would be a no go. And even graduation, he'd only be able to congratulate her by shaking her hand or something equally distant, and that didn't exactly please him.
But there was one thing he figured might make things a bit better. He figured that if they wouldn't be going to prom together, there was another important event he could get her into, and that was Jake and Ally's wedding which would be taking place sometime this summer. She'd have graduated by then, and both his friends would have gotten used to the thought of his dating a student, who would no longer be a student anyway, and then seeing as they hadn't had Kristen in their own class and had probably never come across her in a very serious manner at school, they probably wouldn't really see her as such too much. Obviously, he'd included some of Kristen's photographs in the bunch he'd given to Jake so that he could pick who he'd like to have there, and though he couldn't say that she was extremely better than everyone else, because in spite of being his girlfriend, he knew the others had incredible talent to, but still, he did hope she'd pick her, and if not well... he'd take her as his date. But he stayed logged on his IM for a few minutes more, trying to see if he could get Jake and Ally's decision as he waited for Kristen to arrive.
