Kristina sighed as she looked at her ceiling. She knew it very well now. She had not had much courage lately and that left her in her bedroom staring at the same ceiling. She didn't really know what else to do. She didn't have any friends and she didn't have any one to talk to. Her mom wasn't picking up the phone, not that Kristina expected her to. The twins were a handful. She settled into her bed a little more and as she sunk into the mattress she became all the more uncomfortable. She wanted to do something. She wanted to move. She wanted to dance. She looked around the room she spent so much time in and decided there was not enough room for her to dance. She sighed and sunk a little lower into her bed. She was feeling really restless. It was the first time in a long time she felt this way. She smiled to herself as she pushed herself out of bed. She could feel something had changed in her. She didn't know if it was good or not, but it was a change. She looked around her room and cringed. Her side was a horrible mess. She didn't really want to clean it now, she would do it later.
Kristina closed the door to her room and cringed again. It took her twenty minutes to decide what to wear, and another ten to fifteen minutes to locate her Ipod. She shook her head and wondered why she had let her room get that bad. She never let things get that much out of order. She stepped outside and she smiled. She felt really good about today. It was almost like she had just came out of a rainy day. Like she was seeing the sun shine for the first time after a month of raining. Kristina felt good enough to skip, which she did. She walked to the park and smiled. She hadn't been here in a while. Everything looked different now. She seemed to be almost happy again. She plugged in her music and let the beat flow through her body. It didn't take all that long before she found herself moving smoothly with the beat. Kristina was a fair dancer, or at least she thought she was. She wasn't amazing, but she was above average. There were still a lot of things that she had to learn, but she loved learning it. It wasn't long before she lost herself and just danced without thought.
