Ally was pacing the back room nervously as she waited for her cue to walk down the aisle, wondering how it was even possible for someone to feel that anxious even when they knew they were doing the right thing. Actually, it wasn't even a question of it being the right thing - this was the happiest day of her life by far - well, so far she reflected as her hand found its way to her rounded belly. Still, she couldn't help herself, and she figured that even when you were entirely sure that the man waiting for you at the end of the aisle was the most amazing and perfect man you could have ever dreamed out, there was no getting out of the whole wedding jitters thing. Her sisters, who were her bridesmaids, kept trying to comfort her and reassure her to no avail, and they were getting quite exasperared at it. Makayla kept repeating how lucky she was and how hot she thought Jake was, which each time earned her a scalding glare from her older sister but that was never enough to shut her up. As for Brooklyn, she merely claimed she could not understand why she behaved so.
Of course they didn't understand. They weren't married, though they'd both been in a stable relationship for a little while now, but still they didn't understand. Carolyn did, though. Ally looked up at her maid of honor with a slightly tortured look on her face, which earned her an attempt at a comforting smile, but she knew nothing would make the anxiety go away until she was actually walking down that aisle and watching Jake at the other end of it. "Oh I think I'm gonna be sick," she said in a faint voice as a wave of nausea hit her, though Brooklyn firmly held her still to keep her from rushing to the bathroom. "Oh no you won't, not after being such a pain in the ass when I spent an hour doing your makeup," she told her firmly, causing Ally to huff lightly but she stood where she was, knowing it was the only thing she could do. "Just think that tomorrow at this time you'll be lying on a dreamy beach," Makayla sighed a bit dreamily. "Oh yeah, just what I need, picturing myself as a wounded whale on the sand," she snapped - her body was pretty much drastically changed at this point, but before Mikayla could respond her step mother walked inside the room. "Allyson, we'll be ready to start soon," Morgan told her, pulling her into a reassuring hug. "And all will go well," she added with a soft smile. "You look gorgeous."
