Eliana wasn't too sure of how to organize her Christmas this year. She'd never really celebrated it very much because it so happened that she didn't have a lot of money to buy other people presents, so she preferred to shy away from gatherings and such, but she also didn't have the money to go back home so she'd always had to spend it at the Academy and now in her apartment. It didn't bother her too much though, because when she was little they hadn't celebrated it much either, and so that tradition hadn't changed much once she'd moved to New Mexico with Lauretta. Though then she'd met her boyfriend, and she'd gotten new friends, so of course that had a certain influence, but a lot of times she tried to do something cheap for presents because she knew whatever she could buy wouldn't necessarily give the meaning she wanted it to have. Most of the time she put her art to good use for that, knowing some people enjoyed receiving paintings and others drawings, so that made it that much easier. But sometimes that wasn't necessarily an option either.
She'd had no idea of what to get Mack, at all. They'd been dating for a little bit now but she still wondered what would be a proper gift to give the other girl. She had actually drawn her something, but that didn't really seem good enough to her. At the end of the day, she'd decided that the best present she could give the both of them was maybe some quiet, alone time together, which they hadn't been able to do in a while because of college, and she was looking forward to it. She knew it would possibly come off as a rather lame and unoriginal present, but to her it was really all she needed. The apartment wasn't overly decorated because Milo hadn't really bothered too much and neither had she, but there were still a few accents of Christmas here and there to recall the holiday, and she was glad that she and Mack would have the apartment to themselves for quite a bit, considering Milo was off to Addie's house and would then go over to Texas with Taylor. She was currently finishing up dinner, which wasn't really anything to recall Christmas, but she'd decided to go for more of a romantic meal anyway, with something that both she and Mack would enjoy - she'd thrown in a few shrimps for the other girl too, since she loved seafood.
