₪ ₪ ₪ The idea of driving all the way to Virginia from Kansas City had probably had a negative affect over everyone. She knew Josh didn’t want to drive it, and there was no way she’d drive most of the way there. So they’d all opted to take a flight that would cut it down by a number of hours. And be less uncomfortable. She’d even offered to help Marchel pay for his ticket. But it was so worth it to get to see her parents and how happy they’d be not only getting one, but two daughters for Christmas this year. And not only daughters, but their respective men. Kristen had to admit that watching Marchel and Jillian inconspicuously whenever she could gave her a really good feeling. Her sister was with a nice guy, one who cared and would cherish her. And from experience that’s all she really wanted for Jillian. Someone who’d treat her like the amazing girl she was and be good for her. The idea of them having sex didn’t make her cringe as horribly as when she’d thought about it happening with Andrew, that was a plus. Even watching the two attempt to sneak off to the bathroom. Though now as they stood waiting for their luggage, she couldn’t help but reflect on how good her life was right now. She had an amazing boyfriend; and really he was all that she could ask for. Handsome, smart, loving, caring, understanding. It was a plus that he was a god in bed, she knew her Mom would get a kick out of that. And then she had a wonderful job, that she absolutely loved because she got to take amazing pictures. She had an apartment she lived in with aforementioned boyfriend – that’d she been making over little by little – and she had a wonderful family. A family which she was about to introduce him to. When she finally saw her vintage suitcase set on the belt she grabbed them, waiting for everyone else and then walking off towards the exits to hail a taxivan, a breeze hitting her lightly. Smiling as the guy took her suitcases, she went over to Josh and took his hand. “Welcome to Virginia.” She stated, smiling up at him. “The Old Dominion State.” She grinned. “Alright gang, let’s go meet the parents.” She spoke up after all the bags were in, running a hand over Marchel’s cheek smiling at him before getting in. |
