Things had been pretty good with Will ever since the small incident with his mother, but thankfully enough that had turned around before it'd evolved into something too dramatic, and now she didn't have to worry about anybody else trying to separate her and her boyfriend, at least not for a while longer. Hopefully though, nobody else would ever realize who she really was until it didn't matter anymore and Will had a job security in his family's company. She'd been given a new hope though, ever since they'd found out that her grandparents used to be pretty important around the social circles Will's family had evolved in, and that could play in her favor. Of course, nobody would approve of her parents, seeing as her mom had ran away and married below her status, and her dad didn't really have any status at all though his parents had had good money too. However, she figured some people would overlook that if she seemed like she took more after her grandparents than her mom - seemed being the keyword, because she knew she wasn't anything like her grandfather, but she knew her grandma had been a really sweet woman, and had she been alive still when her mom had met her dad, she would have approved of the match just because they loved each other.
Right now though, she didn't want to be thinking about that. Today was Will's birthday, and so after she'd gotten out of school, she'd headed right over to his apartment, knowing she'd find it empty since he generally got out of his college classes after she did on Wednesdays. Admittingly, she didn't have much planned - there was no time to prepare some big fancy dinner, he'd be home before she'd be able to get well into it, but she had a much different idea that didn't involve food but would surely interest him just as much. She knew romantic settings could be considered corny, but she felt that if done right, they could also be pretty damn hot, and so one of the things she'd taken the time to invest in had been candles. After getting changed into something he would surely enjoy the sight of, she'd placed the candles all over the living room, lighting them all before dimming the lights and looking over to appreciate the effect that it gave, setting the few other purchases she'd made - which he was also sure to enjoy - on the coffee table before sitting herself on the couch, waiting for her boyfriend to show up.
