Sam was admittedly a bit frustrated as he made his way home from work - he hadn't had the best day ever to say the least, and if it wasn't for the fact that he didn't want to do anything rash, he probably would have quit. It just seemed that his entire shift had been a never-ending parade of stupid customers, one of which had gone and made a totally idiotic complaint about him, and though his manager had told him he didn't blame him for it and sided with him on this case, he'd still had to write him up. Overall, he was definitely glad to be headed home, though he couldn't help but be in a bit of a grumpy mood. He tried to clear his mind off of it though, because he always made an effort not to let how sucky his job sometimes could be affect the time he spent with Beth. It was a rule he'd made for himself with the knowledge that he could sometimes be unpleasant if he let things get to him, and it just wasn't fair for her to have to deal with the effects of it. After all, she always did everything she could to help him at his place, even though it wasn't officially her apartment yet - though in a way it might as well be.
The biggest change that had occured at his place in the past few months was that it was starting to become wedding central. Even though they hadn't exactly discussed yet when they would want the wedding to take place, not to mention the fact that they were far from having money for it, she still spent a lot of time - and when he said a lot, he meant a lot - reading articles online and flipping through magazines. Flowers, cakes, catering, favors, wedding colors, dresses, it seemed that there was a magazine for everything. Though he knew better than putting his nose in it by now - he'd gotten curious one day after seeing some of the tabs she'd stuck to a few pages, and had found the hard way that he was absolutely not supposed to even look at any dress she might consider buying. Since then, he'd pretty much let her bask in the glory of wedding preparations on her own, except when she asked for his opinion on something, because he didn't want to seem like he didn't want to be involved. Still, he felt it was a bit early to make any decisions, but he was wiser than to say that. He parked his car once he got back to his building, making his way up to his place and opening the door, hanging up his coat and keys with a light sigh.
