Night of fun

Addison had sneaked out of her dorm building a couple of minutes ago and was now walking through the streets of Kansas City, her hair pulled up in a loose ponytail. She was wearing a short jeans skirt and a dark purple lacy cami along with a jeans coat that matched the skirt, though her shoes were more casual - slip on shoes that were comfortable to walk in and that fitted well with the rest of her outfit. Anyway, she couldn't walk in high heels to save her life. It wasn't after the curfew yet, actually it was still rather early during the evening, but by sneaking out, the person had the reception had her on their list as being inside the building, and so she wouldn't have to go back in before midnight. Then again, maybe it was a useless precaution - if she got bored quickly, she would possibly leave earlier than planned and get back to her dorm before the curfew. It rarely did happen, but who knows? If she didn't find anybody interesting to talk to, it was a possibility.
The Beaumont club wasn't anywhere near as popular as The Hurricane for the student population, but Addie loved it, mainly for the pool tables. And also the fact that they checked IDs even less often than at the other bar, which was definitely a plus. Addison couldn't often pass for twenty-one, if ever - usually, when barmen allowed her to order an alcoholic drink, it was before they were flirting with her, which she didn't actually mind. If they wanted to be delusional, it was their problem. Sometimes, the barmen even offered to give her some drinks free, and that wasn't exactly something she turned down. She rarely felt bad about it either, after all it wasn't as though she was forcing them to do anything or trying to give them false ideas. She never flirted back with people that didn't interest her, and if they considered it as such, it wasn't her fault. Well, she didn't exactly turn them down either, but oh well.
After stepping inside the Club, she directly headed to the corner of the room that held the six pool tables. Sometimes she started by dancing, but right now she wanted to play pool and it was the main reason she'd come here in the first place. She did like country music too, sometimes she prefered hearing that to the loud music of The Hurricane, it was more relaxing but still fun to dance to. It was, in some way, a quiet Club, though still rather loud and full of people, simply not in the same way as The Hurricane was. When she got to the one table that was still free, she took her coat off and placed it on a stool nearby along with her purse so that she could keep a close eye on it without having it on her. Besides, she'd never really noticed a case of theft in here, and she never kept her stuff with her - then again, there was also a coatroom in the place though they had to pay for it, which was usually where she left it when she danced. But playing pool, she could keep it near either way. Glancing around, she went to grab a stick and placed the balls on the table, waiting to see if someone would join her before starting.
