It was now a week since Addie had planned a shopping trip with Taylor and Fall break was coming fast. So she’d been a bit tricky when inviting most people to the small event she’d planned, but that was how she worked. Aidan knew they were going to plan, but he’d insisted on inviting Mandy and though Addie pretty much hated her roommate by now, she hadn’t said anything against it, merely that he should probably not tell her what they’d be doing – she planned on having some fun with that. Eliana didn’t really care about what was planned, she’d probably enjoy it to some extent, and same for Holly. The two seemed to be up to pretty much for anything. Then, she’d invited Elijah but she wasn’t sure if he’d actually show up, and she figured that if he did, he’d most likely bring Roxanne along though in the same fashion as Aidan with Mandy. And at this point, she’d most likely invite her boyfriend – that word still made her giggle a bit – and she didn’t think there’d be too much resistance on his side. But then, Milo had to go and be a pain in the ass, so it wasn’t really her fault that she’d had to tell Taylor it’d merely be hanging out and then get her to trick Milo into coming. It’d been necessary.
She didn’t really care at that point whether Milo would be pissed at her and Taylor would probably feel rather bad about it to. She knew they’d probably be that way at first, but she was almost certain it’d all turn out fine in the end. Well, maybe not for Mandy, seeing as Addie didn’t plan on going any more easy on her than on anybody else because the girl was fifteen and a perky believer, but if she wanted to leave anytime, she wouldn’t keep her from doing so. As she sat in a comfy chair in front of the dressing rooms, waiting for Taylor to take off the clothes she’d tried on before they went out. In the planning of the day, this ought to have been their last shop. They’d been to several already, and though Taylor had been slightly hesitant at first to spend money, Addie had convinced her to let go a bit and get at least three things she really wanted even if they weren’t urgent necessities and though, of course, Taylor wasn’t the kind to buy things she knew would be of absolutely no use, she’d gotten quite a few pretty things.
Addie herself had bought a couple of new clothes, CDs, some DVDs too because her mother had very unsubtly hinted at a portative DVD player as a Christmas present, and then some shoes. Lots of shoes, even Taylor had been surprised by how much of a shoe addict Addie was. And then of course, she’d bought about a dozen shot glasses though she hadn’t gotten anything to fill them – that she already had. They were very pretty though, and she couldn’t wait to use them. She’d also taken in note a few things to eat and drink she’d be getting for the evening, but she hadn’t bought them yet. Some wouldn’t keep until then because she didn’t have a mini fridge in her room, though that would surely have been a better investment than what she’d gotten that day. Well, until now. Taylor didn’t know but there was one very interesting place she’d be taking her to next. She still had to figure out how she’d get the girl in the shop, but she was pretty sure she’d find some good arguments. She always did. Besides, it wasn’t as though she’d force her to buy anything, just have her explore a bit.
