Roxanne didn't really know what she was shopping for as she entered the shop, glancing around with a slight frown. Well, she was shopping for her sister - that much at least she was aware of. Rosaleen's birthday was coming up, and though after the little photograph stunt she'd pulled on her, she didn't really deserve one, she figured she'd buy something anyway. Besides, if she didn't buy her sister something, her mother would probably ask why she didn't want to, and she so didn't feel like going and sharing that kind of information with her, considering she would most likely not keep it to herself, and the moment her father learnt about that she would most likely be pulled out of the Academy. So at this point she could only hope that it wouldn't become known otherwise... well, it wouldn't be fun. She'd need to be careful when she discussed the matter with Rosie though, because the last thing she needed was for Ruth to overhear this kind of a conversation. She figured it would just lead to her downfall, and she wasn't looking forward to that.
Claire's wasn't really a store that'd attracted her in the first place when she'd come to the Academy. She did like jewelry, but not overly - the jewelry she wore had a meaning, like her grandmother's necklace, or Elijah's bracelet. She also had a ring she sometimes put on, though most of the time she left it in her room because she didn't want to lose it, a ring that'd been given to her on her first birthday by her maternal grandfather, and he'd died the year after. Merely three years later, his widow had followed through, and then her other grandfather had died after she'd turned seven, causing her own father to take his mother in so that she wouldn't have to live alone. That hadn't really been a happy day, and the atmosphere in the house had completely changed at that moment too. It was subtle, but she'd felt it as young as she'd been, but then she'd grown used to it, like the rest of her family. Actually, her mother was probably the only one who hadn't gotten really used to it still, because she missed her old life style, even though she didn't really complain.
She shook her head a bit as she started looking around a bit aimlessly, wondering what Rosie would prefer between a necklace or a bracelet. Her sister, unlike her, had a lot of jewelry, and wore a different piece every day, aside from her engagement ring obviously. And then, Roxanne knew that her favorite stone was either an amethyst or an aquamarine, but she didn't know if she'd find pretty stuff around here with that. Sighing lightly, she headed toward the necklace section without much thought, though in the back of her mind it was almost as though she wanted to be the only one to have received a bracelet, which was pretty silly because she wouldn't be able to wear it in front of her family, though nowadays it never left her wrist unless she was in gym, or taking a shower or a bath. She'd probably show it to Rosaleen actually, but that was pretty much it. She was lost in her thoughts as she glanced at all the necklaces she came across and ended up bumping into someone, gasping lightly and blushing a bit. "I'm so sorry," she said apologetically.
