Addie sighed lightly as she made her way to her afternoon art class on a friday, thinking she'd never really expected to dislike an art class. Well, it wasn't that she disliked the class really - she still loved art as much as she ever had and she knew that she could never live without it, but being away from Connor for three hours was a bit of a strain now. Maybe it was a bit sad the way she could hardly ever spend that much time without her boyfriend, except when she was sleeping obviously. Well, actually, she was able to spend time away from Connor. She didn't really have that much of a choice sometimes, but still she was pointedly happier whenever she was around him. And for all people accused them of being as horny as bunnies, they did spent quite a bit of time together when they weren't even kissing. There was still pretty much always a physical contact though, but it was sometimes pretty innocent, like her sitting on his lap, or his head resting on hers as they read or did homework. Sometimes it was even just a matter of being in the same room.
Sometimes, she even preferred that actually. Sweet nothings, simple moments, but you could still feel the love in the room, as cheesy as it sounded. Sometimes it was really boring stuff they did, stuff they could have done just as well on their own. Most of the time, it was mostly about him doing his homework and her lying down on the bed reading next to him at the same time. They weren't even necessarily doing the same things, it was just the fact of having his presence near her that made her feel safe, happy. Art was really the only thing she managed to do without strongly lacking his presence, and even then, she felt even more inspired whenever he was near to her. But she still managed pretty well, and if she just thought about him it sometimes worked just as well as if he'd really been there. It was a good thing, in these situations, to have a vivid imagination like she had, though what happened in her head was never quite as good as the real thing, obviously. Still, it was good enough when she missed him a lot. It helped the time passed if anything.
Shaking her head a bit, she stepped inside the classroom and looked around to see that there weren't that many students assembled there, which was a bit surprising considering she was almost always close to late. However, after a few minutes she realized it was because some students had gotten here early and left already, because they project would be taking place outside today, and on top of it, it was a team project. She couldn't help but groan lightly - she hated team projects. But considering they were working on portraits a lot lately, it wasn't surprising. She looked around for Eliana, wondering if she wouldn't mind being with her, but apparently, it wasn't just pick your own partner, the prof had decided all of that already. Wanted to know how well they did with as many restrictions as possible, apparently. She sighed and went to get her own project sheet, reading the restrictions that'd been given to her - a portrait outside, and she had to include flowers and an old, worn building, cause that went so well together - before glancing at her partner's name. Evelynne Snow. Great, just great.
