Marley had been staring at the stupid school newspaper for God only knows how long. After practice, one of her friends handed her the paper and she hadn't really moved from the stage since then. She was kind of a bit shocked at what she read. I mean, Andrew had gone to the girls dorms a few days before Homecoming. Why was that bothering her? It's not like they were dating back then. So why was she so damn upset? Maybe because they had made out before then and she thought that she had meant something to him even back then? You see, the one thing more frustrating than knowing it happened and being upset about it was the fact that she really didn't have any reason to be upset so she was pissed about her being that way.
Sighing, she set the paper down on the stage. There were so many things, really, that they had been keeping from each other. She had found out from Conner that Andrew and Addie had gotten into a fist fight. Normally it wasn't a big deal to her if guys hit girls when girls would get up in their face and whatnot but is that how it happened? She knew that her fights with Trent were pretty bad and she swore that she would never stick with a guy who hit her before she hit them and whatnot. Ugh! she put her face in her hands as she realized that what she was thinking about pretty much made no sense whatsoever. She didn't know really what to do. In order for her to ask him about these kinds of things, that means that she would have to tell him some of the things that she was keeping from him - like the whole Trent issue. Maybe it was better just to leave it alone.
She tugged at the sleeves on her fitted long sleeved black shirt. What was she going to do? She looked back down at the paper and those words burned into her. Well, who did he go see? What did she look like? What kind of a personality did she have? Did he have as much feelings for her as he did for Marley? Oh, this was driving her insane. Why was this bugging her so damn bad? This wasn't that bad and she could deal with it, right? It shouldn't hurt like this. It wasn't like it happened after they talked about being with only each other. Maybe it was the fact that she found out about it like this and there was nothing that she could really do. She couldn't be angry or sad. She needed to just forget about it? Ugh, she didn't know anymore. She was too lost in her own thoughts to realize that someone had come into the theater with her.
