Ari had a lot of money with her. About four hundred dollars, which was a lot for her. She did belong to a wealthy family but her parents never gave her any money without her working for it. Her grandmother Pat had sent her some late birthday money, and Ari was ready to spend. She never really splurged on anything, but she needed to do a lot of shopping. She thought that she had deserved it. She had actually been doing fairly well in school, and she didn't know how she managed to pull that off. She stood there looking in her mirror at what she looked like today. In fact, she looked very simple with her hair pulled into a pony tail, and very little make up on today, which was pretty rare for her actually. She smiled at herself and made little faces in the mirror while laughing. Today was definitely one of her goofy days.
After looking in the mirror for a couple of minutes and making faces, Ari strolled out the door. She really wanted to go to Claire's. She had tons of clothes and such, but not so many accessories to go with her clothes. She wanted some scarves, big necklaces, bracelets, almost anything. She also needed a new bag as her old one fell apart on just a couple days ago. They had a lot of cute things, and they were very cheap compared to other stores. She walked down the street, still not having the car that she was hoping to get. She knew her parents could afford it, but they were making her wait until Christmas to get it. She didn't mind waiting, but sometimes walking got boring. Ari didn't really mind walking, but still. She just couldn't wait until she got a car. Also she wasn't picky on what car she wanted. Any car would do. Something to get her from point A to point B. She just kept walking down the busy street until she reached Claire's. Smiling she open the big glass doors on the outside of the store and walked inside.
Of course she was greeted by many different colors, of many different things. Pink was a famous color in this store, but of course Ari actually hated pink. Any other color was fine to her but pink. It was just way to girly, and she was definitely not the girly type. Sighing she shook her head a little to herself hoping that no one else was looking and watching her. For a Saturday around noon it was a little empty, but there was still a great deal of people there. She looked around wondering where to go first. She wanted a big funky necklace that she could wear with Alamos any outfit. She loved wearing different and unusual things. It separated her from everyone else. She didn't want to be like everyone else. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted the cutest black bag, and she knew she had to have it. She ran over and grabbed it off of the shelf. Being semi tall this was no problem at all. She looked at the price tag and just shrugged. She was getting it anyways. Turning around she bumped into somebody not knowing who it was...
