It wasn't really that much surprise that Christmas was Addie's favorite holiday. It tended to be a favorite for most people anyway. But she was just one of those people who loved giving and Chrismas was the perfect excuse to do so without being told off. Of course, some people were harder to buy for than others. Milo was the hardest, because he could just get anything he wanted, and she always felt her gifts were pretty much lame. This year she'd tried something different though - instead of burning her brain trying to figure out something special to get him, she'd gone with the obvious, which she'd never done before. She'd bought him a notebook - well, a pretty one of course, with a dark red cover and his name engraved, and then she'd taken the liberty of writing him a short personal message on the first page, because she knew she probably didn't tell him often enough just how much he mattered to her, and she figured whenever they fought or something like that, he'd have that message to remind himself that in the end whatever they fought about just didn't matter, because she loved him and always would. After that she'd gone and bought a charging station considering Milo always had some high tech gadgets. Then she'd decided to use her art - might as well be useful for something.
She'd taken a picture of him and Taylor when they weren't looking at one point, when they were all sitting together in his dorm and they were snuggled up together in a fashion that was rather unusual for Milo. And though she didn't really like drawing a portrait from a picture, she'd done so with that one and put it in a nice but simple frame. Then Connor had been just as complicated as Milo, really, but she'd shopped for a while and found something she thought he'd like. He had a bag for his camera of course, but it seemed rather old and plain to her. She figured that might be because a camera was pricey enough to buy without having to spent hundreds on the bag it was put in. So she'd gone and bought him one that has shades of green and gray. Then she'd filled it with scraps and doodlings she'd done of him, including that very first shirtless one she'd found in her bag, and it was well enough to fill the bag. Finally in the middle she'd put a few things she'd gotten at the sex shop, like a few bottles of massage oil, an erotic game and handcuffs - which was a bit more of a joke - among other things, which she figured would probably lead to much fun time. Then for Taylor it'd been a bit easier, because she figured the girl didn't have enough clothes anyway, and having shopped with her she knew what fit her well, so she'd bought her a couple of nice tops with a pair of jeans and some high heels boots that'd almost reached the knees - the kind of outfit Milo would like too she figured.
She hummed lightly to herself as she placed the nicely wrapped boxes under the tiny fake tree she'd bought to decorate the room and went to sit on her bed when she was done. She'd spent the night with Connor but he'd gone back to his dorm so that he could get cleaned up and such and get a change of clothes, considering he spent most of his time in her room now but hadn't brought his closet over.
