Roxanne felt really bad and guilty, as well as scared and anxious as she made her way over to Elijah's dorm. But she knew Kristen was right - she just had to tell him. In her mind it shouldn't really have been that much of an issue. After all, it wasn't as though she'd cheated on him, he'd broken up with her. And then she'd been hanging out with friends innocently enough, she had had no intention of finding what they called a rebound and she hadn't even thought of dating someone else in the year to come - she'd figured one break up like that was painful enough for a whole year. But then Via had kissed her, and she just hadn't really been thinking clearly enough to realize that it was bad and that she needed to pull away. Though she didn't really think that the fact she hadn't pulled away right away meant she'd liked the kiss - it hadn't bothered her was all. And in the state of mind she'd been in, so lost and hopeless, she figured it'd have been the same had it been anybody else who'd kissed her. The response had been instinctive. But she didn't think that would matter to Elijah.
Still, she didn't want him to be upset, and she knew he would be. And then, what if he got upset at the mere mention that she'd kissed someone else and didn't give her time to explain? That would be bad, because he had to understand that it hadn't been wanted, that she hadn't made the first step. Sure, she'd returned it for fifteen seconds top, but it wasn't as though it'd meant anything, and the reason she'd pulled away was that even though she didn't think there was any chance of their getting back together, she just couldn't even try to forget him and move on. She sighed a bit and shook her head, wringing her hands slightly as she bit on her bottom lip, looking at the numbers on the doors absentmindedly until she stopped in front of the one number she actually recognized and knew whom it belonged to. She had to try and calm herself down a bit first, taking in a few shaky breaths before knocking lightly on the door. Right now she definitely wished Via had kept her kiss to herself, or that she'd pushed away the moment their mouths had touched.
