Kristina was nervous. There was no better way to describe the way she was feeling. She was also in extreme shock. She really wasn't expecting Holly to be even interested in her and yet she was coming over to watch movies and such. It was their first date. The butterflies in her stomach have not gone away since the night they agreed to it over IM. Now they had multiplied and where throwing a party in her twisted stomach. This was after all her first date with a girl in a year or two. More importantly this was her first date with an older girl. She didn't really know what to do. She had cleaned her room and Kaylee had cleaned hers, before she left for the night. It was all in order, but something was still nagging Kristina. She couldn't figure out what it was. She sighed and decided that she was just nervous and there was nothing that she could do about the feeling. She sighed and looked at the clock. She was supposed to be here soon. That fact alone sent another spasm of butterflies through her stomach. She didn't know what to expect of tonight.
Kristina sighed as she stepped into her closet. She really didn't know what to wear. She looked at her dance uniforms, out of habit. She really did enjoy the outfits she got to wear. Though there were a few that she would never wear again. Those were in her closet at home. She just couldn't get rid of them. They held a lot of memories in their ugly or beautiful cloth. She sighed as she moved on to her actual clothing. She didn't know what to wear. She looked down at what she was wearing, and it wasn't good enough. She looked like she did every other day and she wanted to look nice, without looking like she tried to hard. She shifted through her shirts. She ended up picking a slightly low cut, form fitting, purple shirt, that says Dance on it. She smiled as she threw it on her bed. She then moved on to her jeans. She didn't have many choices there. She picked her tight pair that were kind of washer worn out and threw that on her bed. She then got dressed. Throwing her clothes in her dirt laundry basket she looked in the mirror. The outfit worked.
Kristy threw her hair up in a quick pony tail and smiled. She liked having her hair up and it didn't look bad on her. She just didn't like having her hair in her face all the time. It was annoying as hell. She smiled as she applied her regular make-up adding just a little bit of sparkle for the club later. She was ready and it was almost time for Holly to get there. The butterflies came back with force and she almost felt sick. She took in a deep steady breath and looked around. She still needed to make the popcorn. She decided that now would be a good time, since it wouldn't be to long before she showed up. The popcorn couldn't be cold, that's just icky. She smiled as she grabbed her bowl and the bag and headed to the closest microwave. She made the popcorn and put it in the bowl, then headed back to her room. She set it on the table besides her bed and pulled out her book. She was going to read until Holly got there, so she didn't die of nerves. Besides that it was a really good book, and a good way to waste time.
