So sometimes Addie could be a bit too stubborn for her own good, and it did so happen that now was probably one of those times, but she didn't really care. For one thing, she usually tried to convince herself that getting sick wasn't that bad considering she'd been through worse so she just took some aspirin or something and she was back on her feet in no time. But she really didn't like the knowledge that Connor wasn't feeling well, it made her feel sad in some way and she just wanted to be there to take care of him. It was a bit strange cause she'd never really felt that way before, except when Milo went depressed or something like that. And then when Elijah had pulled that stunt over Christmas she'd felt the need to comfort him too... and Taylor. Well, okay, she felt that way for quite a few people, but then those cases where when they were sad and depressed and all that stuff, it'd never occured that she'd risk her own health to bring over soup and stuff to a person. But Connor was different. And then she figured she might as well get used to sharing his germs, because if things kept going the way they were right now, there might be a time when they'd live together. Maybe after they graduated.
She grabbed the food she'd bought at the cafeteria and put it in the brown bag the lady had given her, having gotten some soup for the two of them, plus a chicken salad for herself and a bottle of orange juice for Connor. She figured vitamins wouldn't do him any wrong. Plus she had a batch of freshly made cookies which she'd decided to bring for when he felt good enough to eat them. After placing everything in her bag she walked out of the school building, running over to the boys' dorm building, making sure nobody was at the entrance before she walked in and headed up to Connor's room, giving a couple of light knocks on the door before she pushed it open and let herself in, closing the door behind her. She smiled a bit and walked up to Connor's bed, placing her bag on the bedside table before crawling in next to him and turning on her side so that she was facing him. "Hey babe," she said, kissing his jaw lightly and frowning as she placed her hand on his cheek lightly. "Aww hun you're burning up," she sighed, pouting slightly and curling up closer to him. "And now don't you complain, anyway you probably had your germs already yesterday so if anything I caught it already."
