Eliana was in a strange kind of mood as she made her way away from the Academy, her arms wrapped tightly around herself as she shivered a bit, the cold air blowing through her hair and at her face. It wasn't exactly comfortable to be out in this kind of a weather, especially seeing as she wasn't quite used to it. Her winter coat was pretty warm, but not as much as she'd want to, yet she wore a big shirt and a vest under it, along with a big scarf and a hat, woolen mittens in tow and big boots. Still, she was pretty much frozen, yet she was outside. She didn't plan on being for very long, admittingly, considering she was on her way to the Crayola Cafe. She never really ate anything but dessert there, but for some reason she was really craving an apple cobbler, and then their hot chocolate was pretty damn good too. She sighed lightly at the thought, rubbing her teary eyes lightly with her hands - the wind blowing directly in her eyes always made them water, which was pretty annoying already in itself, but if she left the water there then she ended up with ice in her eyelashes and that wasn't exactly pleasing.
She hummed lightly to herself as she kept walking along the streets of Kansas City, as if it helped her forget about the cold, smiling lightly when she finally spotted the restaurant she'd been heading to all along, skipping the rest of the way there and letting out a sigh of relief as the warmth surrounded her as soon as she stepped inside, taking her mittens off and stuffing them in her pockets along with her hat as she grinned at the waitress who came toward her and brought her toward a table, telling her someone would be along in the next few minutes. She sat herself comfortably and got rid of her winter clothes, unzipping her vest but keeping it on as she glanced around, trying to see if there was anyone she knew around. Sometimes it happened that she'd come here, expecting to be alone, but then someone would come along and she'd end up eating with someone else. It was always preferable too, because eating along was pretty much boring. And then, Crayola Cafe was one of the favorite places for the students to visit in the city, so it was normal that there were often people she knew. It didn't seem like there were any today though.
