Eliana hadn't really been at the top of her shape lately. Part of that was because she'd actually gone and caught a cold, and that never really helped someone to feel all that well. Of course, it wasn't as though she'd been so very bad off, but the tiredness and lack of motivation to do anything definitely didn't help at the Academy. But luckily enough, the symptoms hadn't really showed themselves very strongly before Spring break, so that'd allowed her to keep concentrating in class and do her work as well as she could. But ever since the saturday after they'd gotten off school, she'd been spending most of her days in bed, not feeling like doing anything, sleeping a lot of the time and coughing and sneezing the rest of it. Taylor and Kimmy did spend a lot of time with her, at least, and Evie did as much as she could for her when she was in the room, trying to keep the lights off when she was doing something that didn't necessarily require a strong lighting and could be done well enough with a lamp, and making as little noise as humanly possible.
She was getting better though, and for the first time in about four days she decided she needed to just go out or she'd probably die from boredom. She'd given herself a strain brain doing most of her school work which she had to get done over break during the few hours she'd spent awake, and she only had her art project left to take care of, because she hadn't really been able to have a steady enough grip on a pencil to get a good result if she went ahead and tried to draw something. And now, she just needed to breathe some fresh air and walk around just a bit. She made sure to dress warm enough as she grabbed her keys before heading out of her room and onto the school grounds, walking around without really any particular destination as she breathed deeply. Of course, her cold hadn't been her only problem, not the biggest of them. Mackenzie was still pretty present in her mind, and that was enough to make her want to crawl in her bed and hide under her covers. She didn't know how the other girl had managed to impose herself on her thoughts so skillfully, but Eliana was partly convinced she'd done it on purpose.
