So today was the day, he’d been excited since the thought had risen in his mind. Taking Roxie home to meet his family, and mostly his mom. And he was sure his mom was probably up cleaning her ass off at this time in the morning; he never understood how that woman worked, but she worked so well. And he had no doubt that she’d be waiting at the window when they got there That was his mom. He’d done a good job of packing the car he’d rented the night before with mostly Roxanne’s things, because she obviously had a problem with packing lightly. But he made up for it by not packing anything. Afterall he was going home, anything he’d need would be there. Though he of course packed food and drinks for the road; things for both he and Roxie. His mom had requested he get there as quickly as possible, without speeding and being safe. So if he had food in the car…the only time they’d have to stop was if they had to use the bathroom. And even then, bushes were his friends. He doubted Rox would feel the same.
He’d looked down at the gorgeous girl snuggled against his chest as he yawned and pulled her closer. Kissing the top of her head, he lingered there as he whispered her name. “Rox, baby, time to get up.” He spoke lowly, rubbing her bare arm and shifting a bit so he could kiss her forehead. He often forgot that Roxanne slept like a log, mostly because he liked watching her sleep and so he always let her waken on her own. So he laid there for a bit as he turned on his side, propping his head up on one arm as he watched her, running his fingers along her skin while he watched her sleep. It was funny how vividly he could picture her fitting with his family while he lay there brushing strands of hair out of her face. And now all he wanted was to get there, and besides, she could sleep in the car. “Babe.” He whispered in her ear before kissing her lips softly. “Wake up, we gotta go sweetheart.” He said as he tossed his legs over the side of the bed, lightly tapping her butt a few times. It was hard to tell if Nathan was there because it was dark, so he wouldn’t use any other methods, though he wanted to, even if she was awake.
