Kimberly frowned slightly to herself as she glanced in the mirror in front of her, trying to figure out if the shirt and skirt she had on actually suited her. For the first time in a while, she'd gotten the urge to go shopping for new clothes, but not just any clothes. Nice clothes. Clothes that fit well and that didn't look like she'd stolen them from some bigger guy's discarted items of clothing. Maybe it had something to do with Bretton, maybe it didn't. Still, she just had the urge lately to look... good. To feel as beautiful on a daily basis as she did when she felt his gaze on her. She didn't know if that could even be achieved, because the sensation was pretty strange though not in a bad way, but there was no harm in trying. It wasn't as easy as she'd expected though, seeing as she'd lost the habit of shopping for clothes that made her best assets stand out. And a skirt was probably pushing it, but it'd looked so nice next to the shirt that she'd picked out, as if they'd been made to be worn together, that she'd just had to grab it off the rack and try it on.
After a few more minutes of inner debate, she figured it looked good enough and walked off to change, adding the two items to a small pile of more clothes she'd tried on before, which included a pair of jeans, a cami that came with a nice fitted vest, a few more shirts and a couple of accessories. She'd already gotten two new pair of shoes that'd go pretty well with the outfits she'd picked out, and though she'd just spent two months' allowance in one outting, she figured and hoped it was worth it. After changing back to her regular clothes, she grabbed the pile of stuff she'd tried on, bringing it over to the counter at the front of the store and putting the discarded items on one side before handing over those she'd taken to the lady on the other side along with her credit card. She smiled and thanked her when she handed back her card and a bag with her clothes, walking out of the store and looking around the mall. She was getting pretty hungry, and eating would probably be a good idea right about now, but she didn't actually know where to go exactly.
