In his four years of coming to the Academy, Andrew had never once been to the zoo that was apparently somewhere in the city. He'd never had that big a thing for zoos, because really, once you'd seen one, you'd seen them all. It was mostly all the same layouts, same animals and all that stuff, plus he wasn't really that much of an animal fan though he guessed some were cool. He figured going to a zoo was funner for a girl, because then they could stand by the cage and awwwww them for as long as they wanted. And he just wasn't gonna do that, no matter how cute an animal looked. But then, that's where Jillian had suggested they go, and he didn't exactly have a better idea as to what they could do, so he'd figured it'd probably be fine for a day out. Plus, it was pretty warm outside and it looked like it would be a nice day, so they wouldn't be frozen whilst trying to see the animals that'd be hiding to get some warmth. He wondered how many people there'd be there too. It was too early for school trips, and he figured it'd actually be near to empty mostly.
He'd told her he'd be waiting for her on the school grounds in front of the entrance of the school building, and now that's what he was doing. He sat on a bench as he played with his car keys to kill the boredom - not that it was working so well - figuring maybe he should have taken more time getting ready because now he was early, but he hadn't really had anything else to do anyway. Hopefully she wouldn't be late though, because that would only mean even more waiting and that didn't really appeal to him. He shoved his hands on the pockets of his hoodie as he looked around, trying to see if she was coming or something but not seeing anyone that looked like her among the few students scattered on the school grounds, most of which were smoking. He sighed and leaned back slightly as he kept glancing around, wondering what time they'd be getting to the zoo. It was a good thing he had his car, that way they wouldn't need to take the bus or anything and they would probably get there faster than they would have otherwise.
