Beth sat in Sar-Ko-Par Park with a group of her friends. It'd been a semi-nice day and the temperature wasn't that bad so they'd all decided to come out and play a game or two and just really hang out for the day. Since none of them had chosen to go home for spring break. She'd seriously considered going home, especially with the pleas from Stephanie and her parents but in the end she'd decided that she'd much rather have just spent her break here. Besides, she was going home for the summer soon enough, unfortunately. While she loved her home, her family and the friends that she'd left behind, but still kept in contact with over social networking sites, she'd also come to love the Academy in the months that she'd spent there. It was more fun than she'd remembered having in a long time. Not only did she get to dance as part of school - which couldn't really be any better, come on, dancing as a part of boring school? It was great.
Currently, she wasn't partaking in the volleyball game that was happening. So that was what lead her to sitting on the bench that she was at the moment? Her reason for leaving the game was simple. She'd played enough for her liking though and really had grown bored with the whole idea of the game, luckily she wasn't alone in wanting to call it a game and someone from the other team had decided that they'd want to sit out as well. So she'd had someone that she could talk to while the game went on. The other girl was a sophomore and they were pretty alright friends she'd say. They sat there and talked about boys and friends and school work, as well as the developing summer plans that a lot of them already had even though right now it was only technically spring break. Though it didn't take long for the other girl to want to go back into the game as she watched and with the arrival of three other random teens that had been walking by she was allowed to. As for Beth the game still didn't have much appeal so she decided that she'd get up and go for a walk or something to try and maybe find someone else to talk to as a source of entertainment.
