Andrew's relationship with Jillian had definitely been a new experience for him, in a way that she was obviously not like any other girl he'd ever dated, and that was a good thing. He enjoyed spending time with her, she always seemed upbeat and always had an idea as to what they might do, which was pretty good considering he wasn't all that creative when it came to thinking up activities. All in all, she was a great girlfriend to have and he was pretty glad he'd gotten to be with her in the first place, in spite of her having a crazy sister whom he'd rather just not ever hear of or anything like that. He was, however, admittingly a bit surprised at the fact that their relationship was even still going on. Of course, he hadn't hoped for it to end, and he hadn't started it with the thought that it wouldn't last either, but he just hadn't known where it would be going and how it would evolve, and maybe in the back of his mind he'd figured it wasn't exactly something that might last very long because they weren't necessarily meant to be together in a romantical kind of way.
Though, there was obviously nothing wrong with the physical stuff they did together. He was all for that, all the time, whenever she was up to it. But he knew the emotional bond, to him, wasn't quite what it ought to be. He considered her to be a really close friend still and he was definitely glad he'd gotten to know her better, but he wasn't sure if his feelings for her would ever quite get to the point where they should be. And then... there was something else, too, something he hadn't told her - though he hadn't really had that much time to tell her considering he'd only learnt of it recently himself, but still - and that he had to, even though it was likely to put a strain, if not end, the relationship he found himself being uncertain about anyway. That was why he'd called her earlier that day to ask her if she could meet up with him later, deciding he might as well get it over with, and was now waiting for her in the park as he watched people walk by, leaning back against the bench slightly. He definitely hoped this would go well. Or at least, as well as could be expected.
