So far, the school year had been pretty amazing. Of course, just being back in school was great for Bree, because it meant getting away from her grandparents for yet another year. Though, she was eighteen now so there really wasn't much power they could hold on her, considering the fact that for one thing she was legal now, and on top of it she'd just gotten access to part of the money her parents had left for her - she knew she'd receive a bit more when she turned twenty one, and then the rest when she got to twenty five. She was, admittingly, a bit confused over that. She'd never known her parents even had left her money, and even if they had she wouldn't have thought there would be that much of it. After all, they didn't live in a very luxurious manner, to put it plainly they were actually poor, yet there was a good amount that she could live off for quite a few years that'd been left to her. Upon asking, she'd been informed that her parents had actually started putting money aside in case something happened to them before she'd even been born, or actually even conceived.
That had given her a need to cry once more over how much she'd lost when they'd died. They'd wanted so badly to be certain their child would have money, if they had one, that they'd made their own life less than what it could have been. Maybe because they were happy anyway, they didn't need all that money to live well enough and they'd figured it would be better off placed in a safe account in case of emergencies in the future. So whenever she decided she'd had enough with her grandparents, she'd have enough money to live for a little while until she found a job. Anyway, she'd planned on trying for a scholarship when going to College, so that wouldn't be too much of an issue. But now she didn't want to be thinking of this. Right now, she wanted to think about her boyfriend, whom she was waiting for as she sat in her bedroom. She was definitely happy at the thought of spending the entire day with him, always trying to spend as much time with him as possible considering he would be graduating this year. And well, though she didn't have anything special planned for today - maybe he did, she didn't know - just being with him would be great.
