So Ian had admittingly been pretty bummed out upon finding out that he and Evie wouldn't be having the same fall break, which meant they'd have to wait until Christmas to see each other again. He knew he'd agreed to the distance thing, and he didn't regret it because he knew she wanted to be in that school, and the year would pass soon enough. And then, once he finally did graduate as well he'd get to go to school right next to her own, and they could actually share an apartment together once he did. That would be pretty amazing, coming home to her every night, waking up next to her every single morning, always being with her whenever he wanted to be with her... But still, he missed her more than he'd ever thought possible, and it was pretty hard to think he'd have to wait two more months or so before he got to see her again. He missed doing everything with her. He missed just sitting around with her while they both read or did homework. He missed having her with him when he was practicing the piano, he missed holding her close to him, he missed the feel of her lips and the softness of her skin, the sound of her voice and of her moans...
In the end he'd decided he just couldn't deal with it. He'd had enough waiting, he just had to see her, and so what if their fall breaks weren't at the same time? He really didn't feel bothered by the idea of having to stay in her dorm alone all day if he got to see her in the evening. And then, maybe she had one or two days off during her week, and even then there was no saying she had full days the rest of the week, so it really wouldn't be so bad. He had his homework that he needed to get done during his break, and that would help pass the time when she had to be away at class. So he'd called home to talk about it, and though his dad had refused letting him use some of his college fund money for plane tickets, he'd decided to actually pay for it, which he was obviously pretty thankful for. So after leaving early on the saturday morning before the break, he'd gotten to Massachussetts and the cab ride to her school hadn't been very long. He'd then checked the mailboxes to see which room she would be in, heading there and knocking at her door lightly, hoping she would be in.
