Connor's day had started out rather uneventful. Addie was going off to hang out with Taylor for the day and so he was just going to take the time to hang out with some of his own friends, since he hadn't gotten the chance to do so very recently them being busy and him as well. They'd been hanging out most of the day and now it was pretty late at night, since they'd just got done doing a bit of hanging out at The Hurricane with Connor being the designated driver back to the Academy. They were all laughing and joking around during the short drive, teasing one another about the girls that they'd danced with - or, in Connor's case, the girls that he'd turned down. Maybe if he'd have paid a bit better of attention as he was crossing through the intersection, he'd have noticed the other car coming from the other way that had ran the red light. No one was expecting it to happen, for their night of fun to turn to one of solemnity so quickly, no expecting the other car to run straight into the side of the drivers side. The guy sitting behind the passenger's seat, Steven, managed to have the least amount of damage and he was able to call for an ambulance, panicking the whole time that he did as he noticed that neither Connor nor Kyle, the guy sitting behind him, were conscious.
Steven had had the unfortunate task of giving everyone else's information since Matthew, the other guy still awake, wasn't in a state to do so. He'd given off the names of the guys and where they lived and the names of their parents. It was by luck that he happened to have Milo's cell phone number in his own phone and called it so that he would be able to tell Addison about the accident. That had been five days ago. Matthew and Steven were the only ones that actually were out of a hospital bed at the moment, though Matthew had suffered from a mild concussion. Kyle was in a hospital bed in the room next to Connor's, though he'd regained consciousness the day after the accident though had a cast on one of his arms to show for his trouble and a little bit of internal damage. Connor, by far, was the worst off though. No one knew when or, the more scary reality, if he was going to wake up. For Connor himself though, all was peaceful. He didn't know about the worry that people were feeling over him, the cast on his left leg, the bandages covering various parts of him, the fact that his mom and Christopher had flown all the way out and came to see him daily or anything at all really.
