Kimberly didn't remember the last time she'd felt so hyper and overly excited about something. Basic training was pretty void of excitement for the most part, and she'd almost felt at times like she'd never be able to feel that kind of an emotion again. But then, whenever she received a letter from Brett, she knew that it wasn't true, because reading what he had to say and merely imagining the feel of being in his arms again was simply amazing. And she couldn't believe that in less than an hour, she would be able to do just that. It'd been so long since she'd felt his arms around her, kissed him, touched him, heard his voice. At this point she couldn't help but wonder whether she would even be satisfied with the amount of time they'd spend together cause if it was up to her, she'd stay up all night and all day just to be with him. They had so much catching up to do, two weeks didn't seem nearly enough to do that, but she knew they would pretty much had to deal. And at the end of her first contract she would be able to leave, and then they'd be able to be together whenever they wanted to. Which for her would probably be pretty much all the time.
She didn't take very long getting off the bus once it reached the station, grabbing her bag and walking inside the station, recognizing it pretty easily from the last time she'd been here. She was pretty sure Bretton would already have arrived by now, and she was definitely in a hurry to find him as she made her way through the crowd to get to the point where they'd told each other that they'd meet up. She didn't even care enough to make sure she didn't run into anyone or anything, bumping into quite a few people on the way there and mumbling an hurried apology, having no problem with being considered rude or anything like that. And when she finally actually spotted him, she felt like her heart skipped a bit, a sob getting caught in her throat as she swiftly started running toward him, dropping her bag as soon as she reached his side and literally jumping in his arms, unable to keep herself from crying lightly as she clung to him tightly, pressing her hand to her mouth to try and muffle the soft sob that threatened escaping her lips. She hadn't even thought that amount of happiness was even possible.
