Taylor wasn't too sure what was going on with her right now. Everything was so contradictory in her mind, it was hard to tell what she wanted. Well, for the most part, she knew what she wanted - she wanted Milo. She loved him, harder than she'd ever thought it possible to love anybody. And she didn't want to give that up, she knew how heart breaking, how painful it would be to be without him. But wasn't that where she was headed anyway? She'd send her application already to Juilliard in New York, and even though she hadn't received an acceptance letter, she had high hopes that she would. It'd taken her a while to take that decision to actually go there, knowing that if she did she'd have to be miles away from Milo and from most of her friends, but she also knew that she'd dreamed of going to that school forever, and she still had her dream of being a ballerina, of dancing professionally, and she knew that could help. In the end, she'd figured that if she and Milo were meant to be together, if their relationship was strong enough, distance wouldn't break it.
But at this rate, it seemed that other things would. Other dreams of hers that he obviously didn't share, and she just didn't know whether she was willing to give up those dreams. She figured she still had time to think on it - or maybe it was just that she was too weak and too scared to give him up yet. Still, today had surely been the first time she'd had trouble practicing since... well, she didn't remember the last time. She felt tired, she felt sore, and clumsy, as if her every movement had fallen in wrong with the music, as if her head couldn't follow and her body didn't want to bother. After a couple of hours, she'd just given up, frustrated and near to tears, and had headed back to her dorm room to take a long, very long shower. She sighed lightly as she stepped out of it, shivers coursing her body from the rush of cold air that hit her, grabbing a towel to wrap around her body tightly and another to dry her hair as well as she could, glad that Mandy was away at Aidan's apartment for the night, like most nights anyway, so that she could just be in peace and spend the evening alone.
