It didn't feel quite as weird as Addie had thought it would have, to be married. Well, she hadn't really thought it'd feel that weird, and definitely not a bad kind of weird - she'd been excited about this since day one they'd decided to go for it. Still, she'd figured something might feel a bit different, though she hadn't really known what. But apparently it wasn't the case, and the only thing that felt even a bit different was the added ring on her left hand. Other than that, everything had just been the same as ever so far, which she figured was a good thing, though she hadn't been worried about anything turning out bad. She hadn't seen why anything should change just because they now so happened to share a name and have a certificate that officially claimed they were married. And it felt good to have that knowledge, to be able to say that now, he really did belong to her just as she belonged to him. That when they met new people they could inform them they were married. That they would be together forever, until death parted them, and she planned on that being a long while from now.
It was amazing how fast time went, too. It was only a little bit over a year and a half ago that they'd met, and now they were husband and wife, on their honeymoon - which was already halfway through, and she wished they'd have had more time together but she figured at least they'd still be able to be together for the most part once they got back to school. And for now, they were still here, doing as they pleased, enjoying what they got to see and to do, enjoying being able to sleep together in a room that wouldn't potentially have someone barge in or where they could share a bed large than twin size. She sighed comfortably as she cuddled closer to him in her sleep, becoming more aware of her surroundings as she slowly started waking up, her body snuggled up to him as she rested her head on his chest, tucked under his chin, his arm wrapped around her. She always slept better when she was with him, there wasn't even the slightest doubt about that. Though today they didn't have anything specific planned, maybe just a bit of walking around and such, but for now she was happy with lazying in bed.
