In Ruth's opinion, there were definitely many advantages to the fact that Addie had moved out of her dorm room to live with her husband, and she was pretty sure that she wasn't the only one to see those, either. Ever since Addie had packed up her things and gone to live in her apartment, she'd pretty much moved into Via's now unshared dorm room, considering the fact that at this point in the year there were no other students to pair her up with, and she figured that her own roommate probably wouldn't mind having her out of the room more often. Not that she had anybody to fool around with when she was by herself in the dorm room, but oh well. Either way, she was pretty satisfied with the way things were turning out. It was a little over a year now since she'd first gotten involved with Via, and she'd never been involved that long in a relationship before, which made it slightly strange to her, but in a very good way. She couldn't say there was one point in the past year where she'd regretted having started dating the film maker, and she was pretty much looking forward to the kind of future they might have.[/blockquote]
She'd never been one to really think long term when she was with someone, but obviously there were a lot of firsts with Via. That included feelings, too. Not that she'd actually discussed this with the other girl in any way, because well... she wasn't too sure how to. It was obvious by now that they were girlfriends, even if they'd never officially taken that decision but by this point she didn't see how anyone could have any doubts. Still, this had to be one of the only things she felt insecure about in this whole situation. For now though, she wasn't really thinking about that, about how she was even a bit scared at the thought of telling the other girl she loved her. There were other things to concentrate on. Like how she did actually love her, everything about her, personalitywise and physically, and how beautiful and peaceful she looked right now, even with her back turned to her as she slept, pressed back against her own chest. Ruth lifted herself up slightly on her arm, her hand moving to brush along her hair gently, softly pushing it back behind her shoulder as she leaned over to press a light kiss to the other girl's soft skin, her fingers lightly trailing along her upper back.
