Mandy agreed to going to the mall with Via today, since she had wanted to hang out with the other girl before she left to go spend some time with Ruth. Which, despite how much time it had been and how often she'd seen it, was still slightly weird in her mind but she never commented on it to Ruth because she was happy. And, well, she had to admit that it was a better alternative to Via crushing on her, which had been awkward to discover, to say the least. Luckily, things had been back to normal between the two of them for quite some time now. So they could hang out without any problem. She wasn't entirely sure what the whole plan was for today but she knew that Via had asked the other day if she wanted to come shopping with her today. At first it'd seemed a little random, since she usually didn't bother asking days in advance but she figured that it made sense that she'd want to make sure that she didn't plan anything when it was the day before she left. What they were shopping for she didn't have a clue, but she was thinking that they'd probably just wander through the mall.
"Can we stop by the pet store?" she asked Via. Not looking the least ashamed when the other girl shook her head and asked, "When don't we have to stop by the pet store?" Instead, Mandy just grinned happily. "Great," she said, starting to head in the direction. She'd always loved going to the pet store but recently she'd enjoyed it even more so because there was a dog there that looked almost exactly like Kisha, whom she missed so much. Upon walking into the store she saw the lady that worked there smile at her and Via, greeting them by name. So what if she had a little problem with coming in all the time? It wasn't her fault. She missed her baby dog and this was as close as she got to her. Walking over to area where the puppy was in a small fenced in space. Immediately upon seeing the girls she stood up, her tail wagging and went right over to the edge of the enclosure. "Hi girl," Mandy said, getting down on the floor and putting her hand through the holes to pet the fluffy puppy, who licked her hand. "You're so cute, yeah you are. I'd take you home with me if I could."
