Violet was pretty anxious as she waited for Gabe to get to her dorm room. They didn't have any big special plans, but they'd talked about spending the evening together for their respective birthdays, since she'd missed his in August and hers was coming up shortly. She'd admittingly had the hardest time finding something for him, because finding presents had never been her strongest point, except for Rose because... well, she just always knew what Rose wanted so that never really tended to be a problem for her. As for Tyler, he was more of a practical guy when it cames to gifts so she hadn't ever had trouble with him either, usually just getting him something that could be useful in school or now for his apartment, but with Gabe... well, it didn't really seem like something she could do. At the end of the day, she'd managed to get something out of him, and so she'd gone and bought him a good set of headphones since those he'd owned had broken during the summer and he hadn't bought any new ones yet, at least according to what he had told her, so she was hoping it was still accurate.
Her roommate was out for the night, which she'd tried to subtly enquire about so to make sure she and Gabe would be alone, but being subtle wasn't her strongest point and so she was pretty sure the other girl knew why she'd asked her how long she planned on being out. Well, she'd probably come back at some point, because the Freshman girl most likely didn't have a boyfriend yet or anyone whose room she'd spend the whole night at, but either way, she'd still be able to have a good amount of free, alone time with her boyfriend, and though some people would wonder why it even mattered to her since they didn't really do anything that was inappropriate for other people to see, but still, didn't mean she didn't want to be alone with him from time to time. And then they still kissed and stuff, though nothing really heavy admittingly, but still, she didn't want to go and have that much public display of affections. She pushed those thoughts away as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, smoothing down her skirt and shirt, pulling at a loose curl of her hair, trying to make sure she looked good enough.
