Val loved spending the weekend at her boyfriend's apartment. Obviously, there were many reasons for it, like the fact that she got to sex him up as much as she liked, and the fact that she just always slept better when she was wrapped up in his arms. And then, she just enjoyed the feel of it, as if they actually lived together rather than her visiting him from time to time. It made her eager for that point in their lives when they would actually really own a place together, when she'd wake up next to him every morning and come home to him every night, or be there to greet him when he'd get there after her. And really, it wasn't that far away either - in only a little bit more than two years, she would graduate high school, and she had no doubt that she and Will would still be dating by then. Of course, she hadn't really given much thought to where she would go to college, but if he was willing to stick around some more, then she definitely wouldn't have a problem with it either. Her parents would probably be saddened by that fact, her mom especially since something told her Vince and Brooke would most likely go somewhere that would be a middle point between Nova Scotia and Iowa, but then again, she'd never really thought she'd stick around Davenport her whole life.
The day had gone pretty well so far, waking up in a very interesting matter, getting down and dirty before taking a shower and getting started on the day. She'd brought her homework along to do here, so that she wouldn't have to head back to the Academy during the day. She'd also brought a small suitcase of clothes to switch up with those she kept at his place, tired of always having to wear the same stuff when she spent time at his apartment, and by the time she'd gotten done with that, he'd headed out to go and buy a couple of things. With him gone, she didn't really have much to do, and after a bit of browsing online, she decided baking would pass the time well enough, skipping over to the kitchen and debating for a moment if she wanted to actually try her hand at making Will's favorite dessert, which just had to be something pretty complicated looking to make. Then again, she figured that the only way to know if she could manage it was to try, and if she failed, well... she doubted Will would begrudge her wasting a few ingredients for it, taking everything out that was needed after printing a recipe she'd found online and getting to work on it.
