Spending the evening with his girlfriend was always something Nate enjoyed a lot, whether it was just for a couple of hours or for longer. They weren't really the kind of couple that needed to spend a lot of time together every single day, and they could go a day or two without seeing one another if they weren't able to find time for her to come over, like when she had practice that ended late or when he had to go to the library to work on a project. He did still much prefer the days or evenings he spent with her, or even just the few times when, in spite of having had a busy schedule, she decided to come over just to spend the night with him, and he couldn't say that he would have found it too much if they'd spent time together every day. As it was, if things kept going the way they currently were, chances were they'd move in together not to far down the line - like after she graduated, if she decided to stick around Kansas City for college, which he obviously hoped she would - and once they lived together, it wouldn't be an option to see each other every day. He was looking foward to it, though.
Still, he was happy with the way things were going with their relationship. He loved her, she loved him, they have fun when they spent time together, whether it was to just watch a movie or eat dinner, they had great sex, and just overall, he thought they made a pretty good couple. He was definitely glad with the plans they'd made for tonight though, not wasting much time in grabbing his coat and keys after turning off his computer and heading over to the nearest drug store so that he could get some icy hot to help along her soreness, next sending her a text like he'd told her he would and then driving on his way to the Academy. It wasn't long before he made it there, parking his car in one of the designated spots close to the entrance to the school grounds and getting out of it after turning the engine off, figuring he'd at least be able to give her a proper greeting if he waited for her outside of the car, though he doubted he'd have to wait for her very long either, figuring that she'd probably been about ready to walk out of her dorm room when he'd messaged her.
