In the past two weeks since Aidan had woken up, Mandy had formed herself a pattern of sorts in how to deal with the current situation of life. She would wake up at the Academy, always feeling alone and slightly out of place, and then get ready and go to her classes. During lunch she would walk over to Aidan's apartment and take Kisha out for a walk, head back to school and finish up her classes. She ate dinner as school - except on Friday, when she left during free time - and then went to see Aidan at the hospital. She'd stay until she got kicked out by the nurses at the end of visiting hours and then go back over to Aidan's place, take Kisha out again for a brief walk and head back to school. Fitting homework into her schedule wasn't all that easy, but she still managed to get it done mostly on the weekends. Sometimes bringing it along to the hospital for the times when Aidan would be working with doctors or nurses. Even if he wasn't talking with her all the time, she wanted to be there as much as possible. Though she didn't want to admit it out loud, she was hoping that maybe by being around often she'd help him remember her at the very least.
So far, she wasn't doing a very good job it would seem, but she wasn't about to give up hope that things would get better. Especially not today because today was the day that they were actually going to let Aidan come home. Well, go home since he didn't know what home was and she wasn't sure how that all was going to work out. However, when she got to the hospital she was excited to see that he was in the process of being checked out. She was slightly nervous to take him back to his apartment, wondering if it was going to be anything like he'd been expecting. She didn't want to get her hopes up too high of him getting any sort of memory back from being there either, since she wouldn't want to be disappointed if it didn't happen. His family was there as they finished getting everything together, though she knew that they wouldn't stay long after they dropped Aidan off at the apartment. When they reached the building she helped lead the way, unlocking the door and holding it open. It was going to be weird another weird time for her, having to show Aidan around his own place.
