Taylor was definitely excited as she stepped out of the plane with her suitcases. There was no feeling of regret in her, that she'd made a bad move by quitting school. Of course, once she'd received the call from the Kansas City Ballet, telling her that they were offering her a position within the company, she'd had to tell her parents. They weren't paying for her college tuition, but she was well aware that both of them, and her mom especially, would think that she was making a big sacrifice by giving up Juilliard and chances to maybe work with bigger companies. At the end of the day though, heading back to Kansas City was just what she wanted. Her priorities had changed a lot in the last couple of years - there had been a time when all she'd wanted to do was have a big dancing career and get hired by big companies like the New York City Ballet. Yet, less than a month ago, she'd turned them down, and yesterday she'd headed to the administrative area of Juilliard to tell them she would be leaving, so that she could go and dance for a Kansas City ballet company. Yet, she really couldn't be any happier.
She was glad to have her parents' approval still, because it meant a lot to her, and so after getting all of her things packed up - there wasn't really that much of it anyway - she'd left the school and had gotten on a plane to Kansas City. The interesting part however was, nobody knew still, except her parents. She hadn't even told Eliana yet that she'd been called back, even though the girl had been the only one to know what she had planned, and so none of her friends were aware that she was moving back to the city, and neither did Milo. There was another good side to moving back to, and it was that she'd get to see Aidan some more - she'd visited him over during her spring break, and she felt so incredibly sad for Mandy especially, but she had faith that he would get better and things would work out. Still, he'd always been like a brother to her, and she wanted to be there for him whenever she could. For now though, the first place she was headed was Milo's apartment, trailing all of her suitcases behind her as she got out of the cab she'd hailed there and taking the elevator to head up to his level, walking up to his door and knocking lightly.
