Cassandra Russo was busy getting ready for her son's wedding. Her only son, her oldest baby was getting married today. How such a thing was even possible she had troubles believing, life just went by too fast. Of course, she hadn't really gotten to talk to him all that much today because he was busy getting ready with Andrew and Shawn - the image was adorable to picture. And she was helping to make sure that everything outside was getting set up properly before going to check on her daughter-in-law who was getting ready with Holly and Taylor, who were to be part of the wedding party today. It was such a nice day for a wedding too, the perfect day even to bring Jared and Ayla together. She'd known that there was something special about Ayla from early on in the relationship and it wasn't just that she was pregnant with her grand baby, but something about the way that Jared interacted with her that was different from the way that he'd ever been with anyone else he'd dated, he'd never even brought anyone else home.
Upon walking into the room where the ladies were getting ready, she saw the two girls putting on their own finishing touches. Which meant that Katie did a lot of touching her hair and Allison did a lot of spinning around in her dress to make sure that it still spun the same as it did before. She smiled at her daughters, who were both very excited to be part of the wedding at all, going over to press kisses to the top of their heads as Taylor worked on finishing up Ayla's make up. She smiled as she took in the bride, feeling a lot like the young woman was actually her daughter instead of her daughter-in-law. She almost felt guilty for it too, like she was taking the place away from Ayla's actual mother. Like she wasn't supposed to be the one in here even, but she wasn't about to complain about it either. "So, how is everything progressing in here?" she asked. "Things are looking good outside, better than good even. It's the perfect day for a wedding. And everything is all on schedule as far as I can tell anyway."
