Tonight was a big night for Zoey, although a lot of people hadn't really understood why, because it was her first official date with Marisol. Sure, they'd hung out and they'd made out and all of that stuff, but this would mark the first time that they went on an actual date. She was excited for it too, to just go out and have a real date with Marisol. In fact, she was taking the whole matter very seriously, which was why she'd just spend about a good hour getting ready for this date. She'd taken herself a shower and blow dried her hair, brushing it out so that it looked the way that she wanted it to. Her make-up was done to perfection and she'd even went ahead and she'd put on the outfit that she'd decided on wearing pretty much the moment that the idea of going out for a real date was brought up. Who cared if Marisol had seen her look worse? She wanted to dress up nice for her date, wanted Marisol to think that she did look nice and had spent some time getting ready for her. Obviously she didn't want it to look like she'd just thrown on whatever.
Once she was all ready she realized that she did have some time still before she was going to have to go. She was meeting Marisol just out near the parking lot, since the other girl was going to be driving over to pick her up before they headed out for a nice dinner together. Not wanting to risk doing anything that might mess up any of her hard work, she simply grabbed her laptop and checked her Facebook page, posting a status and happily looking through the updates of other people in her life. Once she'd killed what she thought was enough time, she put the laptop away, grabbed her light jacket, her purse and her room keys and headed outside. The only thing that she had to do was try not to hurry too much as she made her way over toward the parking lot, not wanting to be standing there like a loser that had just been waiting around the whole time for Marisol to show up. Just because she was excited, didn't mean that she had to make herself look like a loser by seeming overly eager for the date either.
