Marisol was definitely excited and very impatient as she paced her apartment endlessly, waiting for her girlfriend to show up. She hadn't seen her since she'd left to head back home for the holidays, and she'd only gotten back to Kansas City today. Normally she would have gone to the airport to pick her up, but she'd already made plans previously to go out to lunch with a couple of college friends before she'd known what date Zoey would be flying back from home, and though she'd considered cancelling it, her girlfriend had assured her it wasn't necessary. The wait was definitely making her anxious though, and making her wish she had cancelled that lunch just so she could have seen the other girl sooner. It wasn't like she'd been gone for that long, but she'd still missed her a lot, and she was definitely dreading the summer, and the year to come even more. She still didn't know where Zoey would chose to go to University, and though she wasn't gonna let long distance break up their relationship, she knew it still wouldn't be something easy to go through. She'd seen plenty of people do it, and no matter how strongly they felt about the other person, there were always rough times.
She tried not to think on that too much too. As it was, she was still hoping to get accepted at Parsons, no matter how unlikely it was, and then hopefully Zoey would pick Juilliard - she had no worries about the other girl being accepted anywhere. If things went in that directly, they would both be living in Manhattan - who knew, maybe even living together at that point. After all, living in New York City wasn't cheap, so having a roommate was pretty much essential. That was definitely her favorite plan for the future when she thought about it. Unfortunately, it was far from being a set in stone kinda plan. A lot of things were still up in the air, and she didn't generally ask the other girl too many questions about her preferences for college next year. She didn't want to make it seem like she was pushing for anything or trying to pressure her in any way, and at the same time, she was afraid of hearing her say that she was really hoping to get into Stanford because that would be her pick. She shook her head a bit, pushing those thoughts out of her mind for the time being as she checked the clock on her cell phone for probably the tenth time in three minutes.
