The past few months had been rough for Milo, to say the least. And well, they hadn't exactly been a piece of cake for Taylor either, but she was there to support him and help him through all of this. He was the one who was experiencing it first hand, she only did her best to try and lessen the burden some. Regardless, she couldn't even begin to describe some of the relief she'd felt when he had started showing some clear improvement with his memory - even if it had happened little by little, it had at least given them the much welcome knowledge that his memory loss was not a permanent thing, which was not something the doctors had been able to do. At this point, it seemed to her that everything was pretty much back to normal, too. There were still moments when he had some slight issues remembering things she had told him a few minutes ago, but she didn't know if she would go as far to say as that was a result of the accident, or just him being himself by not always paying attention to what she said - especially since he mostly tended to forget when she asked him about some household chore or another.
It was a heavy weight lifted off of everybody's shoulders at this point, knowing that Milo wouldn't be stuck forgetting things every five minutes for the rest of his life. She'd made sure to give everybody updates whenever she could, from his aunt to Addie, and even Holly. She knew it had to be that much harder which how far away they all were, so she did her best to at least make sure they knew of his improvements. And now that things were getting back to what they usually were, she would be able to concentrate on getting back to work herself. She'd quit the ballet after his accident, not wanting to hire a home nurse or anything like that for when he would need help. She wanted to be there for him, and she knew she wouldn't have been able to focus on her dancing anyway. She probably would have ended up getting fired at some point if she hadn't quit in the first place. Milo was still sleeping as she made her way to the living room and settled down on the couch with her laptop, pulling out a search of job openings related to dance in Kansas City. She had a good idea of what she was looking for - she just needed to find it.
