It wasn't often that Val and Brooke convinced Lindsey to go on a shopping trip. Granted, they didn't try a whole lot - they knew the other girl's monetary situation wasn't the best ever, and they didn't want to make her feel badly over it by bringing her to a mall where they usually had a decent amount of money to spend whereas she practically had none. And she didn't like having them buy her things either, so offering to treat her didn't work any better. However, the other girl had been working part time since the beginning of the year, and although she was still pretty careful of her spending habits, she had been allowing herself more outings as the year went by. Which was why Val had suggested that they go shopping today, figuring it was as good a time as any as it was the weekend after returning from Spring break, and so they didn't have any major assignments to do yet seeing as they'd just given back whatever homework they'd had to do during their week off. After all, the teachers at the Academy were demanding and the work load was high, but that didn't mean they didn't realize that whatever assignment they gave them, they'd have to mark.

Plus, although many of her classmates were still stressing themselves out over finals, Val wasn't really that anxious about it. She had good grades, she knew she'd do well enough at the end of the year to maintain a decent GPA, and she was already in at Parsons. Besides, with both Cheyenne Medawar and Jade Tanaka in their year, there really was no way for anyone else to even consider getting the title of valedictorian. Well, Kota could have, but Val had an idea that, without entirely messing with his grades, he would partly sabotage them if just to make sure he didn't have to stand up and give a speech in front of everyone. Either way, the point was that although the beginning of her Senior year had been pretty damn nerve wrecking in all essentials, by now, they were just too close to reaching the end for her to be stressing out that much. Really, Mikayla was doing enough stressing out for the whole of their group as it was. Which was why she'd also invited the actress to join her, but sure enough, she'd declined - as it was, it was her understanding that even Nick was having a hard time getting her out of her room, so it wasn't exactly surprising. Maybe it was better that way anyway - she and Brooke had a specific plan as to what kind of store to get Lindsey in today, and Miki would have been the type to back the junior up. Two against one was unfair, but more likely to succeed than two against two.

Since getting back from spring break - which had only been a week ago now, surprisingly because it felt like much longer - Brooke had been hit with a serious case of Senioritous. Not exactly a good thing, considering that there were still a few months to go, but she was already accepted into University and she was tired of all the work that she'd been doing for most of the year. Besides, it'd been annoyingly prominent in her mind lately that she only had a limited time left where she'd be able to hang out with her friends whenever she wanted because she'd soon be back to living in Canada and everyone would be pretty scattered around the country. Well, with the exception of Vince, who was coming with her, but that's why it didn't matter quite as much to make it a priority to hang out with him - not that she didn't spend a lot of time with him already, considering everything so that was probably a moot point either way. Today was a girls day though and she hadn't had enough of those for her liking lately between school work and dating lives.

That and the fact that Lindsey wasn't usually one to come on shopping trips because she tended to be a bit more conscious with her spending - she had to be though, which was understandable but still sometimes a bit of a downer - made it all the better. She was a bit saddened that Mikayla had decided to skip out on the invite, but the girl was going a bit crazy with the whole end of the year school work thing. She needed to take a chill pill, in Brooke's opinion but there was no reasoning with her lately and they were just going to have to go without her as getting her to go out and have some fun was a bit of a useless cause from what she could tell. Which, in the end, the actress not being able to make it was probably going to turn out for the best given that they were planning on trying to get Lindsey into some lingerie and Mikayla wouldn't have been on board with that. As it was, when they got to the proper store she didn't even stop in front of it before starting to make her way inside as she carried on the conversation that had already been going on.

Lindsey really had two reasons why she rarely agreed to a shopping outing with Valerie and Brooke. The first was the most legitimate, and the one they knew of - money was scarce for her. She didn't ever feel jealous or resentful of the fact that her friends had it more easy than she did, but that didn't change the fact that she didn't have parents to send her an allowance of spending money every month, or anything for that matter. She had no idea what her father was up to at this point, and her mom was most likely still in jail - and when she would come out, Lindsey had really no interest or intention of catching up with her. Honestly, getting emancipated was probably the best thing she'd ever done in her life, especially because of the additional help she was now getting for the Academy. Of course, she'd always been on a scholarship, but it only ever covered tuition and housing. Getting books and just regular school supplies had been a pain from day one, and although she'd managed, her first couple of years hadn't been easy. Now, the scholarship she received was tied together with some grants, and that was generally enough to cover for everything she needed for school.

Additionally, getting a part time job - although it did limit the amount of time she could spend with her friends and with Dakota - had helped her to join in with her friends a bit more often when they wanted to do things that involved a certain cost. Granted, whenever Kota was around, there was no arguing with him to not pay for her movie ticket or dinner or whatever, but she didn't let anyone else pay anything for her, and as it was, she wasn't always comfortable when her boyfriend did. Regardless, money wasn't the only reason why she sometimes said no - the other was the fact that she just knew, every single time, that both girls would end up doing something crazy - like going in a sex shop - and try to pull her along. And that was really way past her comfort zone. Today, however, she'd given in, because she knew the amount of time she had left to hang out with her friends was getting more and more limited with each day that passed, and wasting an opportunity just wasn't something she could do. Well, at least until they got to a lingerie store, and Lindsey suddenly felt she'd uncovered her two's friends real agenda for the day. Sighing and shaking her head a bit as she followed them in, deciding to just hover by the racks around the front of the store and let them do as they would. Trying to make it clear, by not following them, that she had no intention of trying anything on.

It wasn't exactly that Val and Brooke enjoyed pushing Lindsey out of her comfort zone - they didn't do it for entertainment factor, that would just be mean. No, what they did, they did it because they wanted to try and help the other girl become a bit more comfortable outside of her shell. Granted, some of the ways they used to go about that were a bit unorthodox, and then some of the things they did with the other girl that would be deemed awkward in her opinion weren't necessarily tied back to her specifically. Like going into a sex shop - that was just something they did when they came across it and felt like checking out some things that could potentially make their sex life a bit more interesting. And there was no doubt that Will always enjoyed the result of her going in there, too. At the end of the day, they never exactly forced anything on Lindsey. They just... nudged her in the right direction. A bit forcefully at times, but never too badly so - obviously, since she was currently out with them. She was pretty sure that if they'd traumatized the other girl at any time, or just pushed past her boundaries to a level that was just not acceptable in her eyes, she would have refused any more shopping trips with the two of them.

And okay, so maybe Val had used the whole 'but both of us are moving away in a few months and then we'll hardly get to see each other' thing to her advantage when asking Lindsey to come along, but she was pretty sure the other girl would have said yes either way. Which, almost instantly Valerie could tell she regretted it as they stepped inside the lingerie store, but she would get over it. Besides, she did have a slightly more reasonable purpose for being in here, aside from just wanting to get Lindsey to get herself something nice. Her wedding night lingerie had been bought for months now, but she'd decided she needed a few more things for the rest of the honeymoon, and this was just the perfect place. "Lindsey, those slips aren't gonna eat you if you step into the store," she called back to the photographer as she shuffled her feet around the racks right by the entrance. "Come on, I'm gonna need your advice on some of these things, too," she added as she picked up a corset set, running her fingers along the fabric to establish its quality and whether it'd be comfortable to wear.

It was possible that sometimes Brooke and Valerie could be guilty of pushing a little too hard with Lindsey, even if they did it out of love, the two of them did tend to try and push Lindsey into trying new things. If she had that much of a problem with it, she didn't share to them and they never went past any limits that she was aware of so Brooke figured that it was fine. Trying to get the younger girl to try on some lingerie wasn't pushing past those limits, as far as she knew. Dakota would appreciate it, she was sure, if they did manage to get the photographer to get something. Then again, Dakota probably wouldn't even ask in a joking fashion for anything of the sort because the guy was almost sickeningly cautious and respectful. Not that the respectful thing was a bad trait to have, but she sometimes thought that he went out of his way to try and make other people comfortable. Which probably meant that if it was ever brought up in front of him, he'd sense Lindsey's discomfort with the idea and deny his interest.

The boy clearly needed to speak up a bit more as to what he was interested in. At least Lindsey seemed to realize that it would be pointless to argue about anything as they headed into the lingerie store, even if she did decide that she was going to hang by the door. Nodding a bit as Valerie commented that the slips weren't going to eat her if she stepped into the store. Her own attention taken slightly by an interesting looking teddy that she checked the price on as Valerie picked up a corset set. "Besides," she added, glancing toward the Junior. "There's far more chance of someone seeing you if you're up by the front than if you're actually in the store. Don't want it to be on the gossip twitter do you? 'Not so shy Lindsey sheds her inhibitions and buys racey lingerie in an attempt to save her failing love life with her surprisingly hot boyfriend'." She set the teddy back down after a moment, deciding that for the price she just wasn't interested in it. Besides, looking at it more closely she wasn't sure that it'd be all that comfortable.

So, Lindsey couldn't say she'd been guilt tripped into coming along on this shopping trip, exactly. Ultimately she would have still wanted to go with Brooke and Val, but there may have been a small part of her that'd been saddened to the point of not thinking through what a shopping experience meant with these two girls when Val had brought up the fact that both she and Brooke would be leaving soon. It really was hard to think of the end of the year for pretty much everyone in their group at this point, and Lindsey wasn't entirely ready to just watch all of her best friends go away and move on to the next stage of their lives while she stayed behind. Of course, Kota would be with her, and she was most definitely thankful for that. But at the same time, she felt guilty about it, because she'd been the one who'd asked him to stay behind for her. Granted, his best friend was moving to Canada, and that wasn't really somewhere he could follow, but he had other close friends who were staying in the US, and were it not for her, he may have gone with them over to their college pick. Or he may have gone home, which she was also keeping him from.

Ultimately, she knew once she graduated herself, she and Kota would head off to Iowa together, because that was where he'd want to be most at that point surely, and she didn't have anywhere else she wanted to be. She loved his family, and they seemed to like her pretty well, which was definitely a relief. She only wished things may have been a bit different in her childhood - if she hadn't ended up being held back for a year, she'd be graduating with all of them now. Then again, if that much had been different, there was no saying everything else would have been the same either, so she couldn't be too unhappy about the way things had unfolded. Raising an eyebrow slightly as Val tried to get her to step further into the store, rolling her eyes at the comment Brooke made next. "Don't say it too loud, someone will hear you and report it, and then you won't be able to claim royalties cause they'll claim it as their own," she spoke in a slightly sarcastic fashion at Brooke's pretty perfect impression of the gossip column, though she did take a few steps toward the other girls, watching as both of them busied themselves with picking from the selection around them.

It definitely wasn't easy for Val to adjust to the thought that everyone would be going their separate way - some further than others - in a few months' time, and so, she was pretty much ignoring it. Not that she was in denial per say, she knew it was gonna happen, but that didn't mean she wanted to be thinking about it. The most time she'd ever been apart from both Vince and Dakota was less than a full month, when they'd both gone off to the Academy and she'd ended up being a late applicant. As for Brooke, they had spent time apart during the summer and Christmas breaks, but even then, they'd always visited during summer vacation and they'd pretty much been attached at the hip ever since she'd arrived in their Freshman year. The other girl was like a sister to her now, and as such, it was pretty much like watching two of her closest siblings moving away to a different country, and who knew how often they'd be able to see each other past that? Kota, ever dependable, was of course sticking around Kansas City with Lindsey, and so in this case, it was like she was abandoning him by moving away. Violet, Nick, Mikayla, Vanessa, they were just all headed off on their own way, and it was sad to think of.

As such, she'd just elected not to. Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea - maybe it'd make it that much worse when graduation time did come around and they all had to part ways. But seeing as that would be a heartbreaking time regardless, she figured there was no point in spoiling the rest of her year over it. Unless, of course, she could use it to her advantage to get people to do things they wouldn't normally do. Giving an approving smile as Lindsey finally started making her way inside the store after Brooke's comment, hanging out to the first piece of lingerie she'd selected to try on before moving on to the next rack and looking at what else she might like. Picking up another set and raising an eyebrow slightly as she turned to face the other two girls, tilting her head slightly. "Know who'd look good in this one?" she asked, noting the look of apprehension spreading on Lindsey's face before she even continued on and having to keep herself from rolling her eyes. "You would," she completed, holding the lingerie set over to the junior to take, although she was too busy looking at it like it was made of spiders to take it off her hands. "It's just clothes, you know, it's really not that big a deal," she pointed out.

Brooke laughed a little as Lindsey made her comment about others stealing her words for the gossip column. "The horror. How would I live without those royalties?" she joked shaking her head. In all honestly, although the gossip column was once something that she'd hated with every fiber of her being, she'd pretty much gotten past it. Not that it meant that she wanted to help it in any way and she would probably feel bad if someone did take her words and print them in the column to use against Lindsey. However, she mostly now just found it ridiculous while recognizing the brilliance of it. There were just enough true things with in the crap to make people doubt what was true and what wasn't. Maybe it was getting older and maturing a bit, or maybe it was the fact that she'd no longer have to deal with it soon, but she'd found most of the things that had bothered her a lot during her first few years at school were better just let go. Her life had turned out pretty great thus far despite what some assholes had done to her and whatever the gossip column wanted to spin about her and her friends.

Besides, people moved on from one scandal to another, it just made sense that she should as well. Not to mention the fact that with time and distance it was easier to take responsibility for her actions while at the same time recognizing that sometimes people were just total douchebags and there was nothing that could be done to fix that. Examining another piece of lingerie that might work well for her as Lindsey walked over, deciding that she was going to try it on. Turning to Val as she asked her question, smiling already as she could easily guess where the designer was going to go with this. "Val's right, you know," she threw in after her best friend had commented that they were just clothes. Taking a moment and looking at the piece a bit more closely before giving a nod of approval. The set actually would look good on Lindsey, she was sure, if they could manage to get her into it. "It's really not that much different from a swimsuit or regular underwear. You've got a great body and I'm sure Kota would absolutely die if he saw you in it."

So, Lindsey didn't want to go ahead and assume that the main reason in coming into this store had been to force her into some sort of lingerie piece - even for the two senior girls, that seemed like pushing it. However, knowing her best friends as she did, she still wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it had been a deciding factor, and she had to admire their persistence in somehow trying to make her sex life more exciting, as they would put it - although it was also a little weird just how invested they sometimes were in such an intimate aspect of her life. Honestly, she didn't feel like her sex life with Kota was lacking anything - she clearly had nothing to say against his performance in bed, because she was always more than satisfied, and he didn't strike her as though he was missing out on anything either. Not that he would ever say anything that would hint toward that, of course. Dakota was too sweet a person to ever say anything that may feel like pressuring or pushing someone into something they weren't comfortable with, even if it meant denying himself of something he had a certain interest in.

As such, she knew that putting it out there that her boyfriend had never as much as hinted toward the fact that he would possibly like to someday see her in some lingerie wouldn't help the situation. Both girls would just brush it off as Kota being Kota, and not wanting to make her think he would like something from her that she wasn't at ease with. Still, sometimes she felt like Brooke and Val saw the writer as some sort of helpless child, and as such it was their responsibility to make sure his untold opinions made themselves heard. Yet, she was pretty sure they didn't quite hit on target quite as often as they thought they did. Rolling her eyes a bit as she heard Val's comment about the lingerie just being clothes, and Brooke adding that it was really the same as underwear or a swimsuit. "Okay, first of all, I am not scared of lingerie," she told them, still not taking the hanger from Val. "And if it's just like underwear or a swimsuit, then I don't see why I should spend three times what it would cost me to get those, and then not even be able to wear it as much," she added. "Plus, if Kota likes my body so much, then I'm sure he's satisfied with seeing me naked."

Val knew some people would consider it a bit odd that she was doing something in relation to Lindsey and Kota's sex life, considering the fact that Dakota was like a brother to her. However, that had never stopped her from meddling in Brooke and Vince's sex life, because the other girl was actually a lot more straight forward about her own physical relationship, and it was her role as best friend to be there to listen to her when she wanted to talk about it, or when she wanted to go out and buy stuff to spice things up a little bit. By now, she'd just learned to roll with it and kind of put a block in her mind that anything Brooke told her, and anything she bought, had anything to do with her brother, because it was a lot easier to deal with it that way, and she didn't want to have to tell her best friend to stop talking to her about those things because it was just gross. As such, it made sense that she would be able to do basically the same thing with Lindsey and Kota, and as far as she was concerned, they needed a bit of a push anyway if they wanted to try and change things up a bit once in a while.

Not that she couldn't hear both of their voices in her head respond with 'we don't need to change things up', but she had no doubt that they would thank her and Brooke for it later. Or well, probably not, but in the back of their mind, they would grudgingly admit that it had been a good move. As such, she didn't let herself be phased by Lindsey's comment, instead holding up the tag on the piece she had selected for her to see the bright red sticker - she wasn't stupid, she knew Lindsey's funds were limited, and trying to get her to buy a full price set of lingerie would be pointless. "Which is why this one not only would look drop dead hot on you, but is also on clearance," she told her, having to hold back a light smirk. "And yeah, I'm sure Kota does really love seeing you naked, but it's just not the same thing," she added with a shake of her head. "There's just... something about hinting to nudity rather than full on nudity that's really sexy, it's alluring and it's not as much in your face, and trust me, it works amazing," she assured the junior, shoving the lingerie set against her chest and letting go of it, forcing the photographer to make use of her instincts and catch on to it before it fell. "Just try it on."

It'd been apparent that Lindsey wasn't just going to go along with getting anything in the store without putting up a little bit of a fight about it and Brooke had to hand it to the girl that she was a stubborn person and could stand her ground fairly well. However, she was not as stubborn as as Brooke and Valerie were and she felt like the photographer probably should have just learned by now that it was easier to just do than argue. In a case like this, especially, given that they were in a lingerie store and unlike the first time they'd tried to get her to try on a bathing suit, she had no reason to disagree with it as she was doing much better and the scars that still lingered on were something that they knew about and had seen before. Besides, the girl was terrible at trying new things at times. How would she knew that she was against wearing lingerie if she didn't actually try on some lingerie and see what it could do to her figure and how she could feel in it. Of course, it'd be better if Kota was there to give a live demonstration of the appreciation that he'd have for it but that wasn't going to happen.

Getting Dakota to go lingerie shopping with them would probably require more money than any of them had access to - even with Valerie being the future Mrs. William Aldridge III. Holding back a laugh as Valerie forced Lindsey to actually hold onto the lingerie by shoving it at her after informing her about what made lingerie appealing. "Yeah, just try it on," she insisted. "And even if, on the extremely off chance Kota isn't a guy that loves lingerie, I'm sure he's not going to be like 'damn, I wish she hadn't put on that sexy lingerie piece'. I could do a poll of our guy friends to ask if they're pro or anti lingerie and I'm sure that the answer will probably be overwhelmingly pro. But how about I make you a deal?" She questioned, glancing at the price on the red sticker to make sure it really was decently clearanced. "If you buy the lingerie and you hate it and/or Dakota doesn't react to it any differently than he would of you just being naked, Val and I will reimburse you the cost of the lingerie. That is how sure we are that this is a good idea."

Lindsey knew there was really only two ways for this to go - the first was to argue and refuse and argue some more that she would not buy the lingerie piece Val had forced upon her, and then end up still being forced into a changing room to get it on, arguing some more that it didn't make her look that great at all, and ultimately just giving in and buying the damn thing. The second was to just drop it now so she didn't waste her time and breath on these two incredibly stubborn girls, and just go ahead and buy it anyway. At the end of the day, she knew there was just no way she'd manage to walk out of this store without a bag that contained the set she was currently holding, so why even bother? Besides, if she managed to somehow make them let it go on this one, they were both looking for things as well, meaning they wouldn't be leaving the store right away, and sooner or later they'd come across more options to throw her way, and the whole charade would start over again. She wasn't really in the mood to deal with that kind of a game right now, so might as well just suck it up and get it done with.

Sighing and shaking her head as they went on trying to convince her, to the point where Brooke even offered to reimburse it to her if they weren't right about this being a good idea, she ultimately just rolled her eyes and threw her hands up in defeat. "Alright, fine, whatever," she conceded. "I will buy it, but I'm not trying it on, and let it be clear that I'm just doing it so you'll drop it," she told them, heading over to the register so that she could just go ahead and complete the sale and not be pushed into buying anything else, since this just about took up the majority of her shopping budget for the day. Rolling her eyes as both girls skipped on their merry way to find their own picks, heading back over their way once her purchase was taken care of and watching as Val pulled off numerous options off the racks and headed off to the changing room to try them all on, Brooke soon following suit. Taking her phone out and texting Kota to tell him to remind her never to go shopping with the two girls again - which, really, was pretty much a tradition now whenever she did end up going back out with them after all - as she waited for the two seniors to be done.

If the past four years had taught Brooke anything, it was that between herself and Valerie the two of them could get practically anything done if they wanted to. There were exceptions to the rule, of course, where sometimes they were just unable to get someone to agree to something, but most times they each were good at being either persuasive or stubborn enough to get their friends to agree to pretty much everything. So, added with her promise that she'd pay back the money spent if it was 'lost' on a bad lingerie piece, she didn't foresee Lindsey putting up too much more of a fight as to how things should go. Besides, she wasn't even worried about putting up some of her cash for a bet that it the lingerie would be well received because there was practically no way that it couldn't be. If Dakota didn't practically have a heart attack seeing Lindsey in lingerie, then there were probably bigger problems to be worried about. Especially since it was Kota, and while his new looks were definitely on the sexy side, he was still the same awkward kid that she'd met Freshmen year.

Grinning as Lindsey rolled her eyes and threw her hands up in defeat already. Good, now that she'd accepted things they could move on to finding actual pieces that Brooke and Valerie wanted to buy. "I'm perfectly okay with that and I'm sure that Kota will be too," she answered without shame as Lindsey told them that she was only buying it so that they'd shut up essentially and that she was refusing to try it on. "But I totally will ask Dakota about this and since the guy is an open book, it'll be pretty easy to tell if you haven't shared with him yet." Plus, he could hardly lie so that wouldn't be a concern either. Happily turning back to the racks as Lindsey went and made her purchase, picking out a few things that were on the cheaper side that might look nice on her to try on as Valerie did the same - well, maybe not with as much consideration for price since she was pretty sure that she could probably get Will to reimburse her the cost of the lingerie if she wanted. Not to mention the whole marriage thing making it shared money to begin with. Either way, she picked two out of the lot and happily headed to purchase them once she'd tried them all on.

Lindsey knew Brooke wasn't kidding when she said she would ask Kota about this whole lingerie thing, but honestly, that didn't really phase her. For one thing, even if they could tell from his reaction that she hadn't showed him her purchase, there really was no way they could force her to actually wear it at any given time, and then if her bringing it up did let Kota know that she had even made such a purchase, she was well aware that her boyfriend wouldn't even dream of pushing the issue, and probably wouldn't even bring it up. As it was, she didn't even know what she wanted to do now that she'd bought the set. It did seem wasteful to just bury it in the back of a drawer and not think about it again, but she just didn't know if she even liked the idea of wearing lingerie. It just seemed like it would get in the way more than anything else, but then again, the only way to know that for sure was to try it on. Not that she would take up Brooke's offer to pay it back if she did end up not liking the feel of it, but at least it would serve her as an excuse not to be pushed into buying any more of it later on.

She was definitely glad when the other two girls decided on their own purchases, smiling a bit amusedly at Val's pile and wondering idly if she planned on wearing something every single day of her honeymoon. Then again, odds were she would be gone for more than a week, so poor Will would probably have to deal with just seeing his new wife in lingerie every other day. Enjoying the rest of the shopping day a bit more, as it didn't involve any more awkward stores, and parting ways with Val first as she headed off to her fiance's apartment as she and Brooke went on their way back to the Academy. Making her way to her own dorm room once they arrived and texting Kota to let him know she was back and he could come over whenever he wanted, receiving a text back that he would be over a bit later as he had a few things to finish off first. Deciding to use that time to get some of her school work done and settling down on her bed, managing to get a few things done, though soon finding herself to get a bit distracted by the bag she had tossed at the foot of her bed. Ignoring it at first, until she just couldn't fully focus anymore, and sighing a bit as she put her books aside and stood back up. Figuring she might as well just try it on now to satisfy her curiosity and then it'd be done with, not too worried about Violet coming in unannounced as the dancer was practically living with Gabe by now, as she took her clothes off in a hurry and pulled on the piece of lingerie, frowning a bit thoughtfully as she examined herself in the mirror.

Given that Lindsey was spending the majority of her day shopping with Brooke and Valerie, Dakota had spent a few hours hanging out with Vince. It was still crazy for him to think of the fact that in a few months, the guy would be living in a different country. He couldn't even remember a time where he didn't live across the street from Vince. So he'd been making a little more effort to hang out with him despite the fact that with the end of the year approaching there was not a shortage of things to be done. The girls having a girls day was a good time for that. So they'd hung out and played some video games and just talked as they usually had. Of course, being the slightly more reasonable people that they were, they did end up parting ways before the girls had gotten back as they each had some work that they wanted to get done so that they could spend time with their respective girlfriends and not have to worry too much about any of the work that they still needed to get done. So he'd headed back to his dorm and started working on his creative writing assignment.

Getting a few texts from Lindsey over the course of the day, shaking his head in amusement as he got a text from her asking him to remind her never to go shopping with Brooke and Valerie again. Given that he practically always got such a text from her when she was shopping with the girls, he didn't bother asking why and just responded that he had reminded her before she'd gone today. Just as he did every time and every time she ignored it, so he figured nothing was too bad. Halfway through a page when Lindsey texted him to say that she was back at school if he wanted to come over, answering that he would as soon as he finished up his assignment. Saving everything and grabbing his key, and a sweatshirt, before heading over to the girl's dorm building. Not taking too much more time before he was in front of Lindsey's door, given that getting in was extremely easy, reaching up and knocking on it. His hands in his pockets as he waited for a reply, nodding awkwardly as a girl in his classes greeted him while walking past.
