PERSONALITY
David is a very outgoing person. He will usually do anything anyone tells him to. There is a line, but more times then not he will cross it. He does know what he is doing and sometimes he is aware of the consequences. Most of the time he will do it anyways. His parents called him a dare devil or plainly the devil child. He knows how to start a party and he will if he gets bored. He is often the class clown. If the class is boring he will make it more exciting just so that he - or anyone else - will fall asleep.
Despite the fact that he likes to be the party starter he does have a softer side as well that he'll reveal from time to time, but usually only around some people. For instance, in his dorm with some of his closest friends he is almost a different person entirely. He will talk about anything. Every once in awhile he will even talk about his feelings, not that often, but sometimes. However, most people don't get to see him like that. He likes to keep that side on the down low. He doesn't want people thinking he is weak. He hates people thinking those kind of things about him. He hates people judging him.
David is easily angered. He is the one that normally gets in a fight. He is also the one to throw the first punch. He doesn't really like fighting, but he doesn't want to take crap either. Naturally they combine and if a person doesn't leave him alone he will fight them. More then that if there are people around telling him to fight he will. He likes to make things exciting. In all ways, shapes, and forms.
APPEARANCE
David stands at almost 5'11" and has long blonde hair. His hair is one of the things that he likes the most about himself. The girls like it, too and often play with it something that he enjoys it when they do it. He hides behind his hair when he closes his eyes in class and takes a little nap, which is something that happens pretty often. And most of the time the only complaint that people have about his hair is that it hides his bright blue eyes from view.
As for clothing he isn't that picky, but when he's able to her prefers to shop at Hot Topic. His clothing choices aren't a complex matter and most days he can just roll out of bed and pull on whatever is first out of the drawer - or basket depending on the day. Style is one of the last things that he feels the need to worry about, as long as he's wearing something... well there's a few exceptions to that of course, nothing too girly or horrible looking.
HISTORY
He had a pretty good child hood. His parents seemed to get a long well. His dad loved his mom more then anything. David was aware his mom wasn't the same way with his dad, but he never imagined how bad she was. When he was around fourteen he walked in on his mom with two other guys. She wasn't in the middle either. He couldn't bring himself to tell his dad. For a few years after his mom treated him like royalty. When he was around sixteen his dad walked in on David's mom and they left. Afterwards David told his dad everything.
He got into the academy because his dad wanted him to go the best school in the area. His dad recognized his talent in art. David had always liked drawing, but he never took it seriously until his dad started pushing him to go to the school. He knew he was good, but he doubted he was that good. When he got in, he started to take his talent seriously. Ever since then he had been growing in that department.
He has one friend from his childhood, that he still gets to hang with. Connor Micklesen and he had been friends since they were young. Their parents got along and forced them to play together. After awhile they started hanging out by choice. He just so happened that when he moved he got into Gordon Parks he found the old friend. They have hung out a lot since then.
David's first year at the academy was just about his classes and Connor. He didn't talk to anyone he didn't need to. He spent most of his time in his dorm. He didn't want to put himself out there. His Junior year he started talking to almost everyone, but he still wouldn't do much. This year he decided that since it was his last year he would let himself shine. He talks in class and makes jokes when he gets bored. He goes out of his dorm and makes a little trouble every now and then. He isn't shy anymore and he is happier because of it.
ROLE PLAYING SAMPLE
Kristina sat on her bed on her laptop talking to her latest boy interest. He was nice and hot. She decided that if she didn't get the scholarship she needed to go to the school of her dreams she would ask him out. Until then she was happy with flirting. She was also on a ballet site looking for some new shoes. She had danced though her last pair. She loved her laptop it was one of those you could draw on. Her mom got it for her after the accident with her father and kept it to give to her on her sweet 16. In other words she has had it for only a month or two.
She looked at the clock and gasped. The mail should be here by now. She thought with a strong sense of hope. The letter of her dreams is supposed to come anytime now. She typed a fast brb to all the people she was talking to and bounded down the stairs. She ran to the mail box and pulled it open. Grabbing everything inside of it she ran to the kitchen. Bill, another bill, a letter to me, a letter to mom, and Oh my gosh. Could this be it? She ran through the mail and her heart dropped as she noticed the vanilla envelope with her name and the schools crest on it. Not two seconds after her heart dropped it sped up to an unhealthy pace.
She tore it open and read the letter quickly, twice. "Oh my gosh, I got it!" She yelled as she jumped up and down. Looking around the empty house she got a sense of loneliness. She grabbed the letter addressed to her and the vanilla envelope and ran upstairs to text her mom and tell everyone who would listen. She was going to the school of her dreams on a scholarship.
