PERSONALITY
In public, Theodore will act in a very proper manner, in the way he's been raised. He's a charming guy, always behaving nicely, respecting his elders and doing what he's told. He, of course, also goes along with the stereotype of the nice, popular guy. Though he will often flaunt his money with his appearance and way of acting, he doesn't show just how proud he is, and it causes him to be liked a bit more widely. He can make friends rather easily because he knows what to do to get himself appreciated among a group of people, but most of the time he'll keep to himself and a few selective people, not really looking to mingle with people whose social ranks are too much below his own. Of course, he doesn't let it show that way - but most of the time, his friends will be people who are just as wealthy, or at least close to as wealthy as he is. It allows very extravagant kind of activities when they have free time, of course, and for him, going on a trip to a foreign country or renting a house in a holiday spot that's very much in demand is every day stuff. Mostly, he can do anything he wants, especially considering he's now away from home, and he knows it.
He's a very stubborn guy, and so it's excessively hard to pull the beliefs he's been raised with out of his mind. Though, of course, he considers the overprotectiveness to have been a bit strong, along with some old fashioned values - like his not being able to meet up with his girlfriend/future fiancee without some adult supervision, even though he's learned early that most of those adults were prone to being payed to leave them alone - he still agrees with most of what he's been taught. He thinks that his rank puts him above other people, and that it wouldn't do for him to mix up with people who are from a lower class or even a middle class. He's very proud of his family, of himself, and he doesn't take critique very well. Thankfully enough, he's extremely talented and very smart, and his earlier education has helped him get to a point where he rarely gets told off for something he's done wrong during a class. However, when he does, he'll have no issue arguing it for hours. He isn't exactly open minded, and to him, his opinion is the right one - there can't be two ways of thinking on a same subject, it just doesn't exist.
Those, however, are traits he manages to hide pretty well when he knows there's a need for it, especially when he decides to play his little games. His heart and his future belongs to Daren - he knows that, as she does, but it has never stopped them from having a bit of fun. Most of the time, they won't broadcast their relationship, so that they can be free to play it up just a bit. His charming personality definitely comes in handy during those little games, and he doesn't tend to have a problem picking up a girl who'd seem to fit the part. He'll play around with her a bit for his own amusement and Daren's, and once he gets what they've been after - never the same thing, but usually something quite embarrassing - the game loses its interest, as does the girl, and they go back to their every day life until another victim or another game comes along.
APPEARANCE
Theodore's looks are definitely nothing to complain about, and he knows it. He's charmed many ladies with only a smile, and he tends to use it to his advantage, especially when coming across sweet, unsuspecting girls. He keeps his black hair to a short lenght, which he'll sometimes style with designers products - no cheap crap from any random pharmacy goes anywhere on him, and that includes his hair - though most of the time, he'll leave it looking just a bit messy, though a carefully thought messy. He mostly shaves daily, but the darkness of his hair make it so that he practically always seem to have a very light stubble on his cheeks, which gives him a slightly more manly appearance - sometimes, he'll let it grow out for two or three days, but never more than that. His brown eyes often reflect the charming personality he uses when speaking to other people, and he always makes sure to keep his rather well built body, though not too much, just in perfect shape.
His attire will more often than not consist of a more formal wear. Button down shirts and nice pants are what his wardrobe consists of the most, and he'll often pair it up with a nice jacket and smart shoes. He does own a few pairs of jeans and regular shirts, which his parents are unaware of, but he'll rarely actually wear them, unless he's able to pair it up with something that has a more fancy appearance to it. He's wealthy, he knows it, and he likes to broadcast it to the world. It doesn't bother him to look snobish, he figures that if he has it, he might as well flaunt it, and if other people don't like it, he couldn't care less - he's not there to associate with them anyway. Of course, he'll always wear things that make him look his best, and if he has to wear something that's a bit more casual, it'll never be something cheap.
HISTORY
Practically from the moment they were born, Gareth Huntington and Viviana Montgomery were meant to be together. They had both grown up in a very strict, very rich, very snotty circle of people, secluded from the outside world. Viviana went to a prestidigious, renown all girl's private school that taught, not only the regular school subjects that women would never need to know anyway, but also poise, grace, how to be the perfect hostess, how to dress and look nice for your husband and his guests, how to give off the perfect image of the perfect wife among the perfect family, no matter the truth hiding behind it all. As for Gareth, he was homeschooled by a myriad of private teachers, his days consisting of everything a young successful man must know to make himself a place in today's harsh world. Their free time were spent with evaluated and approved friends, and though their engagement was a sealed deal since their childhood, they had hardly ever met, kept from one another thorough most of their teenagehood, though they were both told that, on Viviana's sixteenth birthday, they would finally meet and everything would be settled. On that occurence, mostly everything went according to plan. Gareth was charming, Viviana was proper, and they got along well enough. The engagement was announced the moment the young girl was escorted back home.
Three years later, after long months of preparation and planning, the wedding took place with great extravagance. Hundreds of guests, chefs and waiters from over the country to serve them, a seven tiers cake and hired musicians to play thorough the entire day, nothing was overlooked, and those expenses were nothing compared to Viviana's bridal set. Silk gown embroided with tiny, very real diamond, not to mention the band of them holding back the flimsy veil and covering her milky throat, dangling from her ears, estimations were made afterward as to know the whole of the cost, though nobody ever came close to the real price. Gareth was content - Viviana was glowing with pride. The match was made, the papers signed, the rings exchanged and soon they were pronounced husband and wife. The moment the wedding was over, Gareth was offered a place in his father's high ranked business, and they moved into their own home which had been offered as a wedding present by Gareth's grandparents. Viviana became in charge of hiring personal, participating in country clubs activites in such, while Gareth worked impossible hours. They were happy, though, belonging to the life they'd always known - they were not in love, but they got along well enough and agreed on what they had to do.
However, when one year after the wedding Viviana had not yet gotten pregnant, questions began to arise and worries started to form. It was found that, by themselves, the chances of having a child was practically inexistant, and they had to turn to fertility treatments and such other methods. One more year passed before the in vitro suggestion came up. The procedure was seemingly successful, all there was left to do was hope a baby would come out of it. It was after the second ultrasound, when the baby's heart beat came loud and clear, that their life went back to normal. Viviana went home with the good news, Gareth carried them to work the next morning, and the following months were complete madness of baby talk, baby purchases and baby showers. A nursery was built, using up two guest rooms (one of which would be used for the hired nanny to sleep in), and plans for the future started. On the fourth of May, 1991, in the city of Fayetteville, Georgia, Theodore Warren Huntington was born to a life of wealthiness and social seclusion. Like his parents before him, his future was mapped out, his life chosen for him before he could even talk - even his bride to be, daughter of a close family named Daren, was picked the moment of her birth, two years or so later.
He never seemed to mind. His childhood was sheltered and cared for. He was surrounded with people who fell in admiration before his seemingly wise lisped words, he had more toys than any kid might ever dream for, and he had reduced school hours, being home schooled like his dad before him. He had friends among his parents' friends who also had children, and he could get all that he wanted with the snap of a finger. Why would he want anything else? When he turned six, it occured to his mother that the child had an uncommon talent - when they went to church, his childish, cute voice joined their in perfect unisson when required to sing hymns and such, and not one wrong note escaped his little mouth. After discussion with Gareth, they agreed that singing lessons could proove to be beneficial for him, though of course only for his entertainment, since he seemed to enjoy it so much - they decided it would do just as well as any type of piano or violin lesson any other child of their status might receive. His voice improved, grew more steady, clearer along with his confidence and pride in it. However, there were worries of his growing up and the inevitable voice change happening, which might ruin his talent.
Luckily enough, when his voice deepened to that of a teenager rather than of a boy, it was made clear that his talent would follow him all his life. He enjoyed it well enough - but as a teenager, he started to long for more freedom and amusements that were of his age. He started taking up photography for something to do - which would come in very handy later on in his life - but still he needed something more, something he knew he couldn't get if he stayed at home. When he was fourteen, he decided to use his voice, his talent, to his advantage, and started looking up places where he could go study to make it even better, somewhere he would get freedom. Upon searching through other countries, Italy, France, Germany, he randomly came up across Gordon Parks' Academy for the Arts. He worked up compelling arguments for it, after discussing it for many weeks with Daren - so that she, too, would be able to come and join him once she was old enough - and convinced his parents to let him go, if he would promise to take up private classes after school hours with a friend of theirs who would follow him to Kansas City, so that he would be prepared to take up his business studies after graduating to join the family business. He agreed, and before too long, his bags were packed and he left for Gordon Parks', where he has been studying ever since.
