PERSONALITY
Mathias has always been the type of person to let the world see exactly who he is. He isn’t afraid to make a fool of himself or be disliked. Instead, he takes the laughter as compliment and uses the insults to improve himself. He’s overly friendly, and will talk to just about anyone about anything. The sound of his own voice is something he hears a lot, and people usually have trouble shutting him up. When it comes to girls, Mathias is completely comfortable talking to them and hanging out. He can be friends with them easily, but at times it’s hard for him to be more. Mathias’ is the type of person who crushes from afar without ever making a move. Unlike his brother, flirting is a talent he doesn’t possess, and whenever he tries to flirt with a girl he fails miserably. He’s not very romantic either, and his idea of a date is going to play laser tag or bowling.
Mathias is the type of person who spends most of his time joking around. He and his brother are always cracking jokes, and at times it’s hard for Mathias to be serious. Mathias hasn’t exactly grasped the idea of an ‘indoor voice’. He’s extremely loud, and it’s very rare for him to talk softly or whisper. When he’s not messing around, he can also be very dramatic. Mathias is always exaggerating his emotions and he’s very melodramatic. When it comes to school, Mathias would rather joke around rather then pay attention in class. No, he’s not stupid, he just would rather being hanging out with his friends or acting instead of sitting in a stuffy classroom all day. He’s actually pretty smart and does get decent grades, but he isn’t as into school as Jaden.
APPEARANCE
Like his father and twin, Mathias is extremely tall. He stands at 6’1” and weighs 155 lbs., which is average for his height. His flaming red hair is fairly short, except for his bangs which are angled right above his eyes. Like his mother, he has soft chocolate brown eyes that go perfectly with his boyish smile. He doesn’t have any stubble on his face, although he tries to convince people he has to shave at least once a day to make himself look that way.
Mathias dresses for comfort, not style. On most days, he wears a t-shirt and khakis with an old pair of sneakers. Jeans and polos are also a part of his wardrobe, along with sandals and flip-flops when he can get away with wearing them. When he needs to dress up, Mathias doesn’t mind putting on a nice suit and tie or a sweater with his church pants. During the colder months of the year, he mostly wears hoodies and jackets, and he’s hardly ever seen without a beanie after the start of November.
HISTORY
At 10:17 pm on November 18th, 1993, Mathias Ethan Scheuder was born in Birmingham, England. Exactly a minute later, he was joined by is brother, Jaden Gabriel Schuder. While little Mathias was ready to go home with his parents, Tyler and Maurice, a few days later, his twin had to stay longer. Jaden was born with a weak heart, and had to go through several surgeries since he’d entered the world.
The twins were inseparable. Growing up, they did practically everything together. They shared a bedroom, clothes, toys, and basically everything else. Even their parents had a hard time telling the two boys apart. Shortly after they turned one, they were joined by their brother, Paxton. Their family was in the middle class, who had exactly what they need and had to work for everything they wanted.
All three Scheuder boys were home schooled until Mathias and Jaden were in the eighth grade. The twins decided they wanted to go to a real school that focused on their interests. Mathias wanted to study theater at a place where he could work with other actors and audition for roles in actual performances instead of just putting on plays for his friends. He’d fallen in love with acting as he’d gotten older, and his favorite acting exercise was trading places with his twin. Jaden, on the other hand, wanted to study film instead of just making videos with only his friends and two brothers as the stars.
That summer the family visited art schools around the world, but hadn’t found one that had exactly what both boys were looking for. While staying with relatives in Kansas City, the family stumbled upon the Gordon Parks’ Academy for the Arts. The boys wasted no time in filling out the applications and sending in an example of their work that incorporated both Jaden’s film-work and Mathias’ acting.
Back in Birmingham, the boys waited anxiously for their acceptance letters. Jaden received his scholarship first, and Mathias quickly came to the conclusion that he hadn’t been accepted. A week later, he was proven wrong by the arrival of his acceptance letter, and the twins packed their bags for Kansas City
ROLE PLAYING SAMPLE
As Scarlett walked towards the entrance to the Gordon Parks' Academy, she started to regret telling her father she wanted to fly out from Portland alone. No, she wasn't afraid of being on her own or missing her family just yet. In fact, she wasn't sure if she would miss them at any point this year. Her house was no longer a pleasant one to be in, what with her step-family there and the constant arguing, even if she was the cause of most of it. She really only wished one of her brother had flown out to Kansas City with her for the weekend so she wouldn't have to carry all her luggage. Scarlett was pulling two colossal rolling suitcases behind, plus two carry-on bags and her purse. Each of her bags was fulled to the brim, and most of the items she'd stuffed into them were articles of clothing. Plus, she had her parents sending her a few boxes of her possessions, which she hoped would be there soon since she would have trouble living without some of the things they contained, such as makeup, hair care products, and school books she hadn't been able to fit into her other four bags.
Scarlett approached the girls' dorm building, walking up to the desk and handing her papers to the lady. She pretended to care as she was told the rules of the dorm rooms, really only taking in the one not allowing boys in. It was hard to stop herself from laughing when she heard that. Yeah right, like there was actually a single person in the building that followed that rule. She gave it a few months before she herself broke that rule. When the lady finally finished squawking, Scarlett took her keys and headed to her room. She took the elevator up to the second floor both out of sheer laziness and because she wasn't entirely sure she could make it all the way up the stairs with all of her bags. Walking down the long hallway, she came upon room 221. She turned the knob, discovering that the door was already unlocked, which meant her roommate must have already arrived. Scarlett wasn't keen on sharing a room, or anything else for that matter. She already had to share a room with her step-sister at home, although there was no way any roommate she received could be more annoying than Stephanie. She pushed open the door, walking inside the room. It was rather boring and tasteless, but she'd expect that much, although she'd wished it had at least a splash of color. As she took in the room around her, she noticed her roommate for the first time. She wasn't sure what to think of the girl, but she hoped she would at least be able to stand this person since they'd share the same sleeping space for the next year. "Hey, I'm Scarlett." she said as she walked over to the vacant bed, setting down her bags.
