PERSONALITY
Christopher could be compared to a Sour Patch Kid. At times, he can be extremely rude, cocky, and altogether sour. He likes to think that the world revolves around him, and that he should be given everything he demands. He has a large ego and comes across as very cocky and selfish. Chris can be oblivious at times, not noticing obvious signals from people or not realizing what they’re feeling. At times he truly doesn’t care about other people’s feelings, but he also has trouble realizing that others might have problems or issues going on in their lives. When he’s around the right people, he’s actually a pretty nice kid. He can be charming and funny at times, but that’s a side of him that is rarely seen.
When it comes to relationships, Christopher can be very romantic. He goes out of his way to show a girl he cares, no matter what the cost. Chris is also the type of person to go through girls very quickly. He isn’t one for commitments, so it’s hard for him to stay with the same girl for extended periods of time. When it comes to choosing girls to date, he considers their looks before their personality. Chris is really shallow, and he normally goes after the girls with the best bodies without even considering what kind of person they are.
Creativity comes naturally to Christopher. He’s easily inspired, and he can get idea from the most random places and things. Chris uses his creativity and inspiration for his art, which usually expressions they feelings he hates to let people see. Most of his projects are actually bright and happy, unlike how he usually his.
APPEARANCE
Standing at 5’10” and weighing in at about 160 lbs., Chris is about the size for an eighteen year old boy. He’s obsessed with his shaggy blond hair, always making sure it’s perfectly styled. He doesn’t load enormous amounts of product into his hair, but he’s very particular about the way his bangs look. His eyes are an icy blue color, and they see the world through his contacts, although he can see alright without them. Chris does have some stubble on his face, and he has to shave once a day to keep the clean shaven look he likes.
Christopher likes to look his best all of the time. His family has the money to buy him nice clothes, so he takes advantage of that fact and buys all the latest name brand things. At the same time, he likes to be comfortable and sees nothing wrong with wearing a t-shirt under his blazer instead of a dress shirt. Although Chris likes to think he’s chiseled out of stone, he’s not an extremely ripped guy. He does have some muscles from playing sports, but otherwise he’s about the average size for a guy his age.
HISTORY
Christopher James Nielsen was born on January 15th, 1992, to James and Marie Nielsen in New York, New York. Both of the boys parents were lawyers, so they never had a problem with money, which anyone could tell after visiting the family’s huge loft in Manhattan. Chris was showered with gifts from the minute he was born, not only because his parents cared about him immensely but also so he would stay out of his parents way. He had several nannies, and he spent more time with them than he did his mom and dad. Even when he was an infant the staff paid more attention to him than his parents.
Shortly after Christopher turned two, he was joined by his sister, Bristol Marie. His mother and father paid little more attention to her than they did to him, and it wasn’t long before they went back to working their ridiculous hours again and ignored the two completely. The two grew close as they got older, since they were really the only playmate the other had. Christopher became very overprotective of his sister since his parents were never around, acting more like her father than her older brother.
Since there was no place for Chris to play sports in the city, he started doing art projects. He’d spend hours in his room, drawing pictures or painting. His parents bought him whatever art supplies he needed for his projects, and it wasn’t long before his room looked more like an art studio than a bedroom. While he got into trouble both in and outside of school, art class was the one place that he actually cared enough to pay attention. His art teacher was one of the only people who got his undivided attention, and it was one of the few parts of the day that he truly enjoyed.
It was Chris’ art teacher that recommended the Gordon Parks’ Academy for the Arts. After seeing all the projects he did in class she was sure he wouldn’t have trouble getting in, and she gave him a few brochures for his parents to look over. It didn’t take much to convince his mother and father to let him fill out the application. A few weeks later he received his acceptance letter to the academy, where he’s been attending his freshman year.
ROLE PLAYING SAMPLE
Mathias was feeling both incredibly bored and hungry. He’d spent a good portion of his Saturday doing the homework he couldn’t afford to put off, but after several never-ending hours of trying to finish his math assignment, he’d decided to take a break. He usually would’ve just asked Jaden to help him with the math problems that he kept getting wrong, but his brother had gone to the library to do his own homework, so he’d have to wait until later when his twin returned to their dorm room after dinner. Since he’d been doing his homework since he’d first woken up, Mathias had missed breakfast, and his stomach had started growling loudly as the day went on. He decided that he would eat out for lunch instead of going to the cafeteria, since that would give him more time before he had to go slave over his desk again. Normally he would’ve called his brother to see if he wanted to go with him, especially since he felt pathetic going anywhere alone, but Jaden had said something about writing a script for his film class and Mathias knew he wouldn’t want to be interrupted.
He’d left the Academy and then wandered around aimlessly for a while, looking for a restaurant that had food he liked and that he could afford. Mathias finally stumbled upon the Crayola Café, figuring the place would be cheaper than some of the other restaurants he’d passed. As he entered the building he couldn’t help but smile. He felt like a kid as he stepped into the brightly colored restaurant. After a few minutes of waiting, a waitress showed him to a booth, leaving him with a menu and telling him she’d return later to take his order. Mathias looked over the menu, finally deciding on a hamburger and chips, or fries as they were called in America. He spent a few minutes doodling on the placemat in front of him, occasionally looking up to see if the waitress had come back. It seemed like he was the only person who was sitting by themselves, and he was starting to feel incredibly lonely. Mathias really hated being alone, especially since he spent most of his time talking, and the only thing that would be more pathetic than sitting alone would be sitting alone while having a conversation with himself. He hoped he would see someone from school that would want to eat with him. Otherwise, it was going to be a very lonely lunch.
