PERSONALITY
Some people might describe Carson as self centered and it isn't difficult to see why he would be described in such a fashion because the level of care that he expresses for other people is little to none. He looks after himself, and sometimes his sister, but that's about it. There is no need for him to get involved with everyone else and whatever drama they happen to have happening at that moment in time, getting involved only leads to trouble and that is something that he'd rather avoid. So instead of wasting the time and energy, he keeps his nose out of it. There can be drama all around with the people that he is hanging out with and he can ignore it easily, though it does annoy him when it happens he just won't show it. Mostly, he believes that the drama is entirely unneccessary and pretty childish, he never puts himself into a situation where he knows that there will be drama and that is possibly one of the reasons why he doesn't spend too much time with his sister since she often finds herself in situations with quite a bit of drama.
Though he appears outwardly indifferent to most things that happen around him, he has pretty strong opinions about it all but he just doesn't feel like wasting the time or energy to share them with the people that are around him. If he cares enough about a person to let them in on what he thinks that person is in a select few. Instead, most people would just assume him apathetic toward everything around him. Most of the time he is able to let out a lot of what he doesn't show in his daily life in his acting, embracing whatever characters come his way fully and being able to put one hundred percent into their emotional investment since he doesn't allow himself to in his everyday life. He doesn't hold back when acting, doesn't think that there is a thing as being too big or too involved with a character. It's clearly where his passion is at and the only time that he exhibits any sort of passion at all. As soon as he is done with it though he quickly goes back to acting the same as usual, seemingly apathetic toward any and everything.
He has a sort of negative view on relationships, influenced greatly by the ones that he has seen in his life. He does believe in love, that it is possible to fall in love and whatnot and that two people can be happy together, he just has a time limit on it. In his mind it isn't possible for love to last, much less relationships, for a very long time. The people who are lucky might stay in love with each other for a few years but even after that they won't last. So, as to be expected, he doesn't really start out relationships with the thought of 'finding love' or anything. Yes, he's had a couple of girlfriends in the past but the relationships didn't end up lasting too long, either because of the way that he acted in his everyday life or the fact that the girl he was with wanted more out of it than he did. Mostly, he has more flings than relationships and from time to time different one night stands, but those aren't that often of an occurrence either since he doesn't feel the need to sleep around with as many girls as possible, just having them when the needs get too strong to take care of alone.
APPEARANCE
By most standards Carson could be considered good looking, standing at 6'2" with light brown hair and dark brown eyes. Having straight white teeth, thanks to braces as a child, and a wicked crooked smile when he wants it. There isn't any doubt that he sometimes uses his looks to his advantage when he feels he needs to, but many times he doesn't even have to bother trying. He keeps in well enough shape around the year and no one would ever be able to accuse him of being even chubby, though sometimes he is seen in better shape than others which is usually during the summer give that there isn't a lot of places to play sports in the winter.
To him a sense of fashion isn't so highly important, though he does mostly own clothes that are on the nicer side. Cheyenne constant bugs him to try and get him to dress even nicer but he never pays much attention to what his sister says except on nights where he has to go out in public eye with his family, other than that he lets her talk to a brick wall. His hair is trimmed every once in a while but mostly keeps about the same for the majority of the time, not liking to have too much change going on in his appearance if he can help it. Not that he really ever does anything to his hair, some mornings not even bothering to brush it if it doesn't need it.
HISTORY
Carson Douglas Medawar was the first born and only son to Jeremy and Amy Medawar on May 2, 1992 after they had been married about a years time, though they were happy with the arrival of their new son they didn't exactly have a lot of time to take care of him as each were busily working to try and get their careers off of the ground. To see that their son would be taken care of after Amy went back to work they hired him a nanny who fed him, played with him, changed him, made lists of the things that he'd need and pretty much took care of everything that the small boy would need. There would be several times when he would cry and not want his mother, in fact, but his nanny whom he was much more comfortable with. For a brief amount of time after that happened the first time Amy tried to be around more so that she'd be the one that Carson wanted but soon work demands became priority again and she grew used to the fact that her son had a preference toward his nanny more so than he did toward his own mother.
When he was two his little sister Cheyenne joined the family and though the idea was tossed around for the two young ones to share a nanny it was quickly discarded, which worked out for the better since as a small child Carson wanted the attention of pretty much everyone he could get it from. He liked to stand in front of people and show off what he could do, whether it was the small bits of the alphabet that he learned or a part of some song or a trick that he could do with his toys. It didn't matter what he was doing so long as he was doing it with an audience he was happy and it continued, as he grew older. If he loved anything, he loved being able to be in front of people and preform whatever he had, his nanny always being the perfect audience and very encouraging of him. It was she who suggested to his parents that he should perhaps be put into acting classes, seeing it as something that would be enjoyable for the young boy so when he was about seven his parents took the advice and enrolled him in a young child acting class, finding that much to their surprise it was something that he had skill in.
He continued to act, moving along and advancing in classes under the instructors at the child and teenage acting school that he was enrolled in, getting lead roles in the plays that they would put on. Rarely bothering to tell his parents about these shows the only one who would turn up would be his nanny and occasionally Cheyenne and her own nanny, since the two talked to each other. It never bothered him though, since he didn't need even them there for him to feel great about what he was doing. It didn't matter who he was entertaining, so long as he was getting to play some characters in front of people, was all that mattered to him. He had fun, learning how to become a better actor and getting to play the various parts of characters, some of which he found himself relating to and some of which he didn't find as easy to relate to. Either way, the acting classes were pretty much the only thing that he ever looked forward to, during his given week since school never interested him too much although he always did well in it without much of a choice.
When he was twelve his parents moved the whole family to Washington D.C. since his father had gotten elected into congress and Carson wasn't too happy about it. Sure, there was a smidgen of upsetness of having to leave the school that he'd been going to and the people that he hung out with behind, not to mention the nanny that had practically taken care of raising him so far. But what he was most upset about was leaving behind all of his acting teachers and the acting studio that he'd come to love so much. Though his parents signed him up at a new studio to put his talent to use it wasn't quite the same, but he tried to focus on the positives and enjoy the things that he could about where he was. Like the fact that he still got to act at all, seeking that as the good in the whole move to D.C. Nothing else seemed to go right there, between the incredibly lame school that he was sent to and the lack of anyone even worth attention. Things at home seemed to be going worse than ever in the continuing year, ending up catching both of his parents with other people - although they each are unaware that he ever saw anything as Cheyenne was also kept in the dark of the knowledge.
Aggravation with the way that things were at home made him start to consider going off to a boarding school, the studio he was now going to had various brochures for different arts schools across the country and he was thinking that it would be the perfect escape from his family and the new city. He took one from every school that they were advertising, looking into each of them seriously to try and figure out which would be the best fit for him. Eventually he narrowed it down to three different schools that he wanted to send applications to when the time came, including a certain school in Missouri. Each of them requested interviews with him, which his mother attended as well after he mentioned it to his parents, giving him a chance to look around all three of the schools. When he was accepted to two of the three he had to make a choice of which one he had liked better from looking around and decided that Gordon Parks would be the best fit for him. His parents agreed to pay for it and sent him off, finding that he had made the right choice and loving it ever since. When his sister joined at the start of his Junior year he wasn't too happy, thinking that she'd bring all of home along with her but getting over it around the middle of the year given that neither one pays the other too much mind.
