PERSONALITY
Cheyenne is a bit of a perfectionist, she likes things to be done in a specific way and she's willing to take the extra time to make sure it gets done that way. Gets done the right way the first time. She has no problems admitting that she wants things to be done her way and there is no doubt that she goes after anything she wants. Some people might think her a little spoiled, but she is willing to work for what she wants. If she doesn't get what she wants after the work though, it's best to just avoid her as much as possible because this girl can get a bit pissy when things don't turn out her way. And manipulation isn't considered anything wrong by her standards, if it helps her get what she wants she isn't afraid to use circumstances to her advantage or to tell a lie here or there. She doesn't expect everything to turn out the way that she wants, she knows that it would be completely unrealistic, but that doesn't stop her from being upset when things don't work out the way she wanted either. At least she never throws a fit when things go wrong.
For the most part she can be a pretty alright friend, if she cares about someone enough she can sit and listen to them and try to give them advice - though it isn't her strongest point. She'll stick by them and back them up in most situations - unless she believes that they are wrong about something, in which case she'll tell them straight up that she can't back them up. If she hates a person though, well they're better off keeping their distance as much as possible because she can be a hardcore bitch. Spreading rumors, telling lies, setting people up for embarrassing situations. None of it is beneath her if she thinks that a person deserves it, though obviously they have to do something pretty big for her to get to that point because she isn't a mean girl by nature. In fact, toward a majority of people she simply expresses indifference. If there isn't a reason for her to take interest in them, then she just doesn't, simple as that.
As for relationships, Cheyenne is definitely a bit of a flirt. She doesn't see anything wrong with showing some interest to a guy that she deems to be good looking, even if she doesn't always have intentions to do anything further than that. Flings aren't anything that she minds and she'll willingly go along with them, though she isn't quite a girl that will have sex with a guy the first time that she meets him - no matter how good looking he is. As a personal rule, there always has to be at least three meetings before she has sex with a guy. She prefers actual relationships though, since having just having sex with a guy isn't ideal in her world. Mostly, she believes in flings for guys that she doesn't really think she'd go anywhere with and even then she can only go so long messing around with a guy that she doesn't really like before she gets tired of it. If she's unhappy in a relationship she doesn't bother dragging it out, she brings it up straight away and ends it after that. For her she doesn't see the point in being a relationship once it stops being good.
APPEARANCE
Overall, Cheyenne is very comfortable with her appearance. She likes the way that she looks and doesn't see a reason that she shouldn't. Standing at 5'7" she's tall without being too tall that it's awkward and is slender enough to be a model without needing the eating disorders to make it happen - though she does eat in a health conscious way. Fair skin, wide blue-green eyes and long chestnut brown hair complete the picture, along with a straight, bright smile to flash whenever she needs it. There isn't much that she'd desire to change about how she looks if she had the chance, save possibly getting a few more curves by the time she ends high school.
Every night before she goes to bed she picks out her clothing for the next day, always making sure to have at least one item that she's designed herself in her ensembles. Her style ranges far and wide depending on the occasion and she has something for almost every occasion, so obviously almost every inch of her closet is packed full of clothes. Once she's done wearing an item for good it will go back home where her parents often make quite a show of donating them to one charity or another. As soon as one piece is gone it's often replaced with something new though so her closet space never seems to get any bigger.
Accessories are key to Cheyenne's look because they are often what completes her looks. She uses them in every outfit and spends a great deal of time picking out what fits well with the rest of what she wears. It's not like she lacks on choices either for she has dozens of scarves, headbands, belts and bags. Not to mention lots of jewelry pieces and plenty of pairs of shoes as well. She takes extra care of her make up and hair styles too, since she believes that they have to accent the outfit just as much as everything else.
HISTORY
Jeremy Medawar met Amy Robbins through a summer internship at the Maryland state government, both of them interested in government and working at their state government office. Jeremy had come from a family highly involved in government. His father had served in the House of Representatives as had his father before him and so on, it was a family tradition and it was one that Jeremy was eager to keep. Amy's family had also always been highly involved in law, though on her side was a family full of lawyers. It happened by accident that they'd be working on the same team but they immediately hit it off and Jeremy invited Amy out for coffee. Over the summer they grew closer and just before it was time to go off to their Senior year of college, Jeremy suggested starting a relationship. Despite the fact that they would be forty miles apart for the majority of the year, Amy accepted and they started a relationship. After graduation, Jeremy proposed to Amy and she accepted. One year later the two were wed in a moderately large ceremony.
By the time that Cheyenne Robin Medawar was born on January 29, 1994 the couple had already come a long way. They'd had a son two years before, whom they named Carson and Jeremy had gotten his foot into the door of a political career while Amy also had started on her own, smaller scale, career. Neither parent was around much to take care of either child, though Amy did take the six weeks that she'd been given off of work to spend with her baby girl but went back as soon as she could. Instead, the children were looked after by their own nannies, since Cheyenne was so small and demanded almost constant attention while Carson wasn't much older and still required much of his own. attention too so it seemed like the best idea. Even when they started to get a bit older, they each kept separate nannies since they'd both grown so attached to them as they saw the nannies more than they saw their parents, with their busy work schedules. So Cheyenne's nanny was the one who saw her take her first steps, heard her speak her first words, sent her off to her first day of private school and made her a snack when she came home.
It was also her nanny that taught Cheyenne how to use a sewing machine at about age eight with her supervision, telling her that it would be an important thing to learn and so she did learn it - when she felt like it anyway. Which was more often than not, she found that even at a young age she enjoyed working with the sewing machine. And it didn't take too much longer before she got ideas of making things that were her own, starting to sketch out different designs for clothes that she'd like to wear though she didn't dare try to make any of them yet. Instead just following the patterns under the eye of her nanny, who continued to encourage her in what she wanted to do, seeing that she could have a lot of talent in designing clothes given that she'd always had a good eye for what went well together in the clothes that she already owned and had been demanding to pick out her clothes as soon as she was able.
Her life was about to change though because once she turned ten her dad had finally gotten his dream and was elected as a representative in the state of Maryland, causing the family to move to Washington, D.C. although they still kept their house in Maryland for legal reasons. Neither Carson nor Cheyenne was happy to have to move schools but they didn't exactly have much of a choice but to go along with it. Despite the absence of her nanny she continued to work with her sewing machine and continued her sketches, not really thinking that it would do much but enjoying it nonetheless as she did with anything having to do with fashion. It would take another two years for her mentality to change, when Carson announced that he was going off to study at a school for his acting. Reading up on the school she learned that they had a fashion program and was determined to go to the school herself. So she started to deviate away from the given patterns and make her own, trying to turn the ideas she'd had down on paper into something that she could actually wear. It took a while for her to get into the hang of it but she managed it and started to make her own clothes, her parents not thinking too much of her hobby though nevertheless impressed by the skill that she had.
The summer before her freshman year would begin she sent in an application to the very same school that Carson had been going to already for two years, not telling anyone about it in case she didn't get in for she didn't want to be embarrassed by a possible failure. When her acceptance letter came though she took it straight to her parents, who agreed to pay for her to go to the school given what a great education Carson was already receiving there. Despite the fact that her brother didn't seem to thrilled to have her coming along with him on his Junior year she soon packed up her bags and headed to Kansas City with him, where she's been enjoying every moment since.
