PERSONALITY
Lucy has always seen herself as average, nothing out of the ordinary and she isn't too far off for the most part because she really is an average type of girl. One might describe her more of a girl next door than anything else. She seems to be in the middle of most extremes, which is often something that she tries to think about challenging but never really gets around to it. She's not particularly outgoing but isn't too shy either, she'll smile and briefly talk to new people but won't go out of her way to do so. As for the attention she requires from other people, she wants her fair share of it but doesn't want to overstep into someone else's either. She can be funny at times but has just as many flops as she does hilarious jokes. Her confidence level isn't as low as some teens her age but isn't exactly high either, she isn't too sure of who she is as a person an it makes it hard for her to try and be content in her own skin. She's just began to try and discover who she really is and more importantly, trying to discover who it is that she wants to be.
Though in discovering herself she has boundaries of what she is and is not willing to do, cause some things just don't seem like they'd be for her. For instance drugs and alcohol don't have any appeal to her at all, opting to rather avoid them since she's sure that she doesn't want to become that sort of person. Just as she knows that there are certain people she wouldn't want to be friends with because of the way that they act, not wanting to get in with a crowd of people who are fake or who would put too much pressure on her because she knows that she'd cave under it and has before in the past. She has a tendency to put a little too much trust into her friends when she starts to get close enough to them and it has led her to trouble in the past, which is why she tries to pick the right friends from the very start from now on. The only problem being that sometimes she isn't the greatest in seeing other people for who they really are, which doesn't exactly help keep her out of trouble with others.
As for the subjects of boys she hasn't really ever had a real boyfriend, though she did have a guy that she 'dated' in sixth grade but the furthest that had gotten was her holding hands with him at the movies. It varies from day to day how much that fact bothers her, mostly because when she thinks about it she doesn't that the reason for a lack of boyfriend has to do with their lack of liking her more than anything else. Some days though, she's just fine with being inexperienced, figuring that at her age it is fine that she shouldn't be having a million different boyfriends. A lot of times though, she'll find herself secretly yearning for a guy to notice her, to compliment her and want to spend time with her. It probably doesn't help that she's never really had that many guy friends in her life to begin with, finding that for some reason it's just harder to talk to them in her opinion.
APPEARANCE
Lucy isn't exactly the prettiest girl around and she's aware of it, though she isn't ugly either. Much like with her personality at first glance one would merely think her to be average. And probably at second glance there wouldn't be much to prove them that wrong about it. Standing at 5'3" tall, she's got a little bit of extra weight on her and though she can't quite be considered fat, she is undeniably chubby though she doesn't like using that word either. If there is one thing that she resents upon being a little bit heavier is the fact that she still hasn't developed quite the curves to go along with it and worries that she might not at all. Her heart shaped face has a sprinkling of freckles across the pale skin that she often tries to hide as much as possible. With dark brown eyes and red-brown hair that is naturally slightly wavy she doesn't exactly have the features that make people stop and stare.
Her clothing style, unfortunately, doesn't do that much to help her out either. Most of the clothes that she owns don't show off her body in the best light, due largely in part to the fact that she doesn't know how to show off her body in a good light. She tries her hardest to pick clothes that look cute though and does spend time figuring out what she plans to wear in the morning. A lot of days she's simply at loss for what to do with her hair though and is practically ignorant in the subject of make up. The amount of accessories that she owns is also at a minimum, not really seeing a point in having them if she isn't going to use them just as she doesn't own more than three pairs of shoes; a pair of tennis shoes, a pair of flip flops and a pair of black dress shoes.
HISTORY
Lucille Noelle Watson was born to her parents Jodi and Anthony Watson on June 12, 1995 in Neligh, Nebraska. The couple had been married for three years and had been trying for the baby girl, who they welcomed into the world happily. They were planning on giving the sweet little angel everything that they could and making her life the best one that they could. They wanted to give their daughter the world, having taken all the parenting classes that they could and read up on every book that suggested on how raise children. They were planning on having a second child sometime in the future but for now they wanted to put all of their efforts into raising the daughter that they had now. They made sure that each side of the family got to see their daughter and did everything they could to teacher her things quickly. They wanted to give their daughter a good life, given that each of them had had to work extremely hard to get themselves anywhere in life, given that neither one of them came from very privileged families. They wanted Lucy to have every advantage possible when it came to life.
From a young age it was obvious that Lucy liked to color, to draw 'pictures' when she was still a toddler and show them off to her parents proudly. Coloring was one of her favorite things and as she started to get old enough to go into school, she still liked to color and draw more than anything else, more than playing with barbies or the toys that she had in her household. When, in elementary school, they got to start having art classes they quickly became her favorite classes of all and the days in which they got to go to art became her favorite days to go to school. It didn't take long for her parents to notice that she did seem to have some skill in the art department and so they got her more art things than before, buying large sketch pads for her to be able to fill with whatever drawings her heart desired, huge packs of colored pencils, water colored paints and brushes. There was a fear that once she had all of the things she'd lose interest in it and want something else but Lucy never did, from the second that she got home each day she'd go and get out her sketch pad to draw her pictures of things important to her or some paper and her paint set to paint a picture. They weren't amazing of course, given her age but she was always pleased with the end result and the house refrigerator became plastered with drawings and paintings.
Things didn't change when she started to get a bit older either, using drawing as a bit of an escape for anything that was going on. It was often that she would doodle in her classes or sit at her lunch tables and draw pictures in a sketch pad. While some kids found her behavior odd, her friends seemed to think that it was probably one of the coolest things ever and were constantly asking for her to draw them pictures. She did so happily, glad that other people seemed to like her work. and always liking to have something new to draw. When she had free time she'd try and talk to the school art teachers so to see if there was anything that she could do to learn more and improve her skills. The teacher happily gave her guidance in how to make things that she drew better and better. By the time that she was in middle school she had gotten much better in her drawing skills, which was one of her favorite things in the world to do though sometimes she'd still feel the urge to paint or do something else too because those were also things that she liked.
Her parents decided about half way through her sixth grade year that they had the money to spare to put her through some art classes. Lucy was ecstatic, unable to wait for the time that she'd be able to go to an actual art class. When she got there she instantly fell in love with the place, with the absolute freedom and creativity that was practically flowing out of the walls. And then there was the teacher, who she was convinced had to be the best teacher that there was. She managed to find time to help each student and give them the individual attention that they needed without making anyone feel excluded. And so for the next two years she studied there happily, figuring that she'd probably do the same thing once she got into high school because she knew that her skill would just keep getting better if she did. However, while she was there one day she heard two of the girls talking about how they planned to go off to art boarding schools for their freshman year of high school and she couldn't help but be intrigued at the idea. An art boarding school? Could there be anything better?
She made sure to get online as soon as she got home and looked up information about different boarding schools that offered art programs. The idea thrilled her and she had to talk to her parents about it as soon as she possibly could, saving the links of different ones that had particularly interested her and then going to see her parents to try and talk to them about the idea. They didn't seem so into it at first but as she explained all about some of them, they started to think more of the idea. Getting online with them she showed them different information about each of the schools, but the only one that they seemed really impressed with was in Missouri - which may or may not have had to deal with the closeness to home - and they agreed that if she sent in an application and was accepted with a scholarship then she'd be allowed to go. For weeks after sending in her application she waited for a response to see if she'd made it in or not, almost giving up hope on the idea when she got a letter in the mail saying that she'd made it in on a full scholarship. After much celebration she started to get the things together that she knew she'd need, unable to wait for the time when she'd be in an actual art school.
