In some ways it was weird that it wasn't weird for Felicia to be signing away on the delivery of some of the furniture for her apartment with Nate. Of course they hadn't needed all new stuff, he had a lot of stuff from his place, but now that she was living there full time, there had been a couple of pieces of furniture that just didn't match the rest. Since Nate was a pretty cool guy, he hadn't minded selling his living room couch and chair or getting a bigger and newer dresser. Which were pretty much the only major changes, as she liked his bed and the frame, same with the tables for the living room and the kitchen set. Within the process of picking out a place, Nate hadn't even given much advice or anything of the sort because he said he didn't have much of an opinion. Which had been code for the fact that he wanted her to love the place that they were going to live. The only thing that he'd pushed for was having the apartment be closer to her school than his. Which had made her uneasy, but then, she'd be uneasy either way.
Really, she knew that there was one aspect that mattered to him though, so she always kept it in mind, never falling in love with an apartment if it didn't have a quite spacious kitchen area even though there were quite a few that fit points she wanted. In the end they'd found one that was in a price range she knew Nate was comfortable with, in an area she was comfortable with, with the closet size she'd need and the kitchen space he'd need. Now they just had to get everything unpacked at some point, which was going to take much longer than she wanted, however she was more than happy for now just directing the people bringing in the furniture where it should be. Thanking them once they had finished and closing the door behind them before heading over to her fiance, who'd been busy starting to unpack the kitchen. Before the delivery she'd been working on getting clothes put away, which she figured was fitting for each of them. She cared more where her clothes went than the cooking utensils and vice versa. Wrapping her arms around him from behind and pushing onto her tiptoes to place a light kiss under his jaw. "How comes the kitchen?" she asked teasingly.
